I have had a succession of Mac Minis, and used with them the Mac wireless keyboard that runs through AA cells like there is no tomorrow. Reluctantly I've made the switch to a PC keyboard, so I will have to relearn a few of the key symbols. But already I love that this is a *wired* keyboard, so I am willing to learn how to get as fast on a PC/Mac keyboard as a pure Mac product. The keyboard initially had a smell reminiscent of burnt plastic that had me worried and checking around the room. I expect it will dissipate. This was completely plug and play, I turned off the Bluetooth to the Mac keyboard, plugged this into an adapter with multiple USB ports, and immediately was able to type. Side note: It's good for Mac users to have at least one wired keyboard on hand, because certain recovery operations if you have a bad logic board or other serious problem are easier to pursue if you aren't dependent on access to your Bluetooth preferences. I do wish it had a caps lock indicator light, and if it does, I can't figure out how to put it on. I'll pose a question to the community. Standard keyboard that feels good to type on. Plug and play with no issues. Used to type this review. Came with new technology smell that takes a couple of days to dissipate, which might bother others but not me.

UPDATE: I really tried to make use of this keyboard, but after a couple off weeks off using it, another issue has appeared. There is a terrible propensity for double-hits because off the spongy feeling key switches. I get "rr", "tt", "ss" "yy", "oo" etc. so often is has become painful to use. It happens on so many different letters that it is clearly not just a bad key switch, or one spot on the key board where I happen to press in a certain way. I had to drop my rating one more star, as this keyboard is truly so unusable that I have to buy something else to replace it. --------------------------------------------- Plugs right into a USB port and works with no hassle. But if you are looking for a comfortable, precision keyboard, this is not it. The keys have a soft, springy feel. There is no positive feel to really know the key is depressed. It's like typing on pads of foam rubber. It took a couple of days for me to get used to it, and it is usable, but I'll keep looking. Also, the support legs that hold the back edge of the keyboard up at an angle are too low. I had to put a small block off wood or cardboard under them to get a good angle for typing (never had to do that on any other keyboard I have owned). -- After seeing my review, the company contacted me and offered to exchange the keyboard for any of several other options that they have. I did not really want any of the others, since I was not interested in a wireless keyboard or a large-key version. But I thought it important to note here that they did try to be accommodating. ... show more

    • Quiet and easy to use keyboard

My favorite part about this keyboard is that the keys are so soft and quiet. It is really comfortable to use. i use with my MacBook at my desk and I like this keyboard better because it is less cramped. the keys are sleek looking and the keyboard itself is easy to clean and it was installed automatically, just plugged in it. I would definitely suggest people try this keyboard for all their standard office work needs ... show more

Only negative I have is offgassing of some chemical that is noted when first opening up bag.... after airing out for a few hrs that chemical smell has gone away; good keyboard that does its jobs; doesn't have any extra bells or whistles. Straightforward USB plug in to computer
