abunda_amazon_reviews First the pros: Sufficient size to hold a variety of equipment A variety of partitions allow for many configurations Looks pretty decent Seems fine right? It would be except for one fatal flaw, the zipper does not stay shut! The zipper is designed such that when fully closed, the bottom edge can very easily become disconnected and then ENTIRE zipper will unravel. I very nearly lost over a $1000 worth of camera equipment because I trusted the zipper. And the backpack is designed such that the compartment will open fully, so if the zipper does fail, it is very likely that all your equipment will come flying out. What is the point of a backpack if you can't trust the zipper? This backpack is literary worth nothing if you can't trust it to stay shut. If you haven't bought it yet: Don't buy it If you have bought it: Return it I have added a video to show what the issue is. It only takes a relatively little amount of force to pop the zipper, and could easily happen during a walk if you have some weight in the bag (as is what happened to me).;;Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2016;;1.0 out of 5 stars;;Just fine... Except it is terrible;;Blin;;;This bag is acceptable maybe even better. It holds all of my lenses and camera body and filters and batteries and sd cards great. There are plenty of pockets and the bag itself seems to be of sturdy construction. However it had 2 issues. First: The straps to hold my tripod were not big enough to fit around the tripod so I routed them through the middle and on the first time that I ever touched it the buckle for the second strap crumbled to pieces in my hand. Rather than return the bag I bought 2 new buckles from Bass Pro for $2.50 each ($5 total). This also entailed cutting the strap where it was stitched to stop it from slipping out of the buckle. So bad tripod straps - fixable with extra time, effort and money Second: The waist belt shouldn't be on there. I have a high end REI backpack to help me with shoulder issues and I learned through my experiences getting the perfect hiking backpack that you want the waist strap to ride on your hips. This bag is too small to support that design feature so it is a waste and the straps will only get in your way. So waist straps are useless clutter. So I didn't return it - for $29 it's better than a lot of $49 bags out there after I fixed my tripod straps. It's just a potentially rocky start. Update: I initially claimed 3 issues and lamented not getting a rain cover until somebody informed me that it was hard to find. I checked the exterior as they mentioned and sure enough there is a secret pocket on the bottom with the rain cover in it, attached with a strap so that it doesn't fall out. This doesn't change my stars though because I wasn't upset that it wasn't there and I give 5 stars to things that are nearly perfect, 4 for things that are normal to good but not perfect. I had 2 issues with this bag even though I do consider the superior price to be worth offsetting at least one issue. The severity of having to buy parts to connect my tripod the way that I want still makes me think that it is only 4 stars after buying more parts and doing work. I owned this bag for a little over two months, I was NOT very active with it at all, and always very cautious with camera equipment. Yesterday, I was out hiking and the clip that attaches the top of the backpack strap to the bottom snapped mid hike, so now I have only one strap. Wasn't too upset, stuff happens maybe it was just a faulty piece of plastic, I rigged the strap back together and kept walking. As I was walking back, the other clip on the other side broke in the exact same fashion. These did not break while doing anything like putting it on or abusing it. I was literally just walking and both of the straps broke. If you are looking for an alternative, buy the Amazon Basics. I owned that one for a year and a half before the stitching started to come undone on one of the straps. Reordering that backpack right now, this backpack is literally almost identical to that one, except the Amazon one won't try and break your camera equipment. It's comforting knowing you have $4,000 worth of equipment in a backpack and the straps aren't going to snap, while walking. 1/5 do not buy, it is inexcusable how bad this product is.;;Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2016;;1.0 out of 5 stars;;Extremely disappointed, READ THIS BEFORE BUYING;;Alexander H;;;I am so glad I ran across this camera bag and even happier that I purchased it. With everything I carry now, my other bag wouldn't hold it all. Now since I've used this bad, I can give my honest opinion. First look out of box, it looked great and kind of fancy. The brand name Acuvar is across the back in heavy rubber and bright blue colors. All the zippers are heavy duty and are also covered with rubber. After opening the main compartment, I was relieved to see all the room! There are lots of pockets as well, with easy opening. There is also a large pocket outside the main compartment, which looks like it would hold a tablet or a smaller laptop. This is a zippered. There are pockets on the side...actually seems like there are pockets everywhere. After I put in my camera equipment, I still had so much room left. Carrying it around on my back is also comfortable. Not only are there the two large straps that go on the back, but one to go around your waist which keeps it feeling more comfy and secure and another one that goes around the chest to hold the straps on your shoulders. These straps don't have to be worn, but I enjoy the comfort. All zippers zip and unzip very easily and there is also a rain bag that is attached under the bag in its own compartment. It has elastic around it so you just stretch it open and over the bag. So basically I'm just very happy with my purchase. AND, best yet there was a typed note from the president of this company along with his email in case they are any problems and insures 100% satisfaction. Its nice to know that some companies still care about their product satisfaction!!
