This door is made to fit flush against the drywall without any lip. Paint it to match the wall and it practically disappears. The flat screwdriver latch is tight and secures the door closed. You might want to add a dab of silicone grease to the inside catch to make it work smoothly.

This panel is solidly made of strong steel, with an excellent white paint finish. I'm very pleased with it; however, I wish it came with a small knob on the latch mechanism so you didn't have to keep a screwdriver handy to open it (I used it to access a indoor water cutoff valve that feeds an outdoor hose bib, so it's inconvenient to open and close). ... show more

Package wasn’t damaged, so this was obviously sent from the “factory” knowing it was bent. You can sort of straighten out thin metal, but it never looks that good. Poor quality control - would not recommend.
