I am a professional artist who paints portraits and landscapes. These paints are superb in quality, blending, masking, and dilution. They cover well with minimal bleed-through, which takes two coats, sometimes three if covering a darker undercoat. Excellent adhesion, and superb quality in pigment. Good price for the quality and quantity but NOT GOOD enough for professional quality results. Quality of texture makes them ideal for people looking to do translucent paintings that may already have a was of another color. paints are very sheer, the color density is very low, they're on the runny side. I bought these to try them out and see quality and was disappointed with how sheer they are. There are paints you can cover a canvas with a simple stroke and then there's paints that require multiple layers such as these. The paints seem to remain wet longer. ... show more

I was a lil bit scared to order a "cheaper brand" of paint but I have to say I was not disappointed at all. They have good pigmentation. They are a bit thinner than I'm used to but not watery at all.
