If you ever wanted to try a little painting this set is great it has all the things you need to begin with minus paper or canvas. The paints were good and the brushes held up well. I used the set to paint a few small pictures and couldn't of been happier.

The paints are absolutely amazing. But the brushes suck. The “fan” brush hair started falling out and got all over my canvas. Kind of needed that for the trees I’m doing. Gonna have to buy a new set. But I’d love to be able to buy more of these paints. Just the paint. I also would have liked to have a second or 3rd white. But overall I don’t regret this purchase.

So much is included in this set, and the quality is good for the price. The paints are smooth and easy to work with, and they come in a nice variety of colors. The allotment of different canvases is great, and the brushes are nicer than I was expecting.

Perfect for the beginning artist. We picked this up as an x-mas present for a young artist in our family. It's a great starter set. I was concerned that the headline said "Oil" paint set while most of the description referred to acrylic paints. I checked and they are a water based paint with easy clean up with water. A nice brush set and palate are included in the set. There is not any canvases or paper included with the set, even though they say there are (unless they mean the white section inside that is part of the box). Regardless we will purchase some starter canvass and perhaps a small easel to accompany this great starter set. It has a nice variety of colors that should spur the creativity of a budding artist.
