I've now bought 14 of these speakers over 4 years. They have great quality for whole home audio, easy to install, and well priced. They are probably not the right speakers for audiophiles, but if you just need sound they are amazing

The media could not be loaded. The Acoustic Audio SP-8c are the best in ceiling speakers i have heard so far. I only got 1 set of the Acoustic Audio SP-8c and its connected to a 5.2.4 setup. I hear EVERYTHING ALL around me !!! My setup is an Onkyo TX-NR787. x2 Klipsch R-820F (Front). x2 Klipsch R-620F (Surround). x2 R-120SW (Subs). x1 R-51M (pair high mount front). x1 R-34C (center channel). x1 Acoustic Audio SP-8c (pair in ceiling middle). best system i ever owned !!!! The media could not be loaded. These 2-way speakers are great for those spaces where you want to listen to occasional music, news etc in a whole house audio application. Sounds ok, but it is good enough for my bathroom and upstairs bonus room/study. The main reason I bought them was that I already had 6.5” cutout in my ceiling and this fit in without having to make the whole bigger. I am quite happy overall for my needs. ... show more

You can’t gonwrong for the money. I was pleasantly surprised with the sound, especially because of the price. I have 5 pair installed though my house all hooked to one receiver. I’m using impedence matching volume controls, and they are clear and crisp. I know I could do better if I bought a higher end speaker brand like Polk or Klipche, but these are doing the job beautifully. ... show more
