Ordered this before I saw the reviews and was a bit hesitant, thinking it might be too strong for me. I decided to test it on a few of the bigger pimples on my face first. After reading some advice from other reviewers, I applied my usual moisturizer after washing my face, then used a cotton bud to apply a thin layer just enough to cover the pimples. I felt a slight tingling sensation, but no discomfort afterwards. After 5-7 days of repeating the same routine, my big pimples that were painful are still there, but less bumpy and less irritated. Compared to the smaller ones that healed faster and almost flat. Since it’s my first time using this product, I’m applying it to only a few pimples at a time to make sure my skin reacts well, but so far, I’m impressed.

Works effectively against acne. It’s better to apply not all over the face, but on acne elements only. If you have acne elements all over your face, then you can apply this product all over your face, BUT if you do it several days in the row, THEN there is a big chance the product will overdry your skin and cause skin flaking off. Also, proper moisturizing should be used together with any anti-acne treatment, in order to prevent skin both from flaking off and from producing excessive oil (because acne-prone skin is usually an oily one). Use non-comedogenic moisturizers like Bioderma green series. (Bioderma products packed in “white and green” tubes/bottles are designed for acne-prone oily skin; don’t mistake them with Bioderma products packed in “white and pink” tubes/bottles which are for sensitive skin). THIS IS THE BEST CYSTIC SPOT TREATMENT I'VE EVER USED!!!! Sorry for the caps, but I'm SO happy!!! Lol! Ive had these 2 painful cystic zits on my chin for over a week.... I got this stuff yesterday and put it ONLY on the pimples like other reviews said... and as of this morning, they're completely flat and pain free!!! YES it is very drying but that's the point! ** I will say I didn't just put it on once during the 1st 24 hours. I would put it in every couple hours if it looked soaked in or after I ate!

This is a solid acne spot treatment, but it’s definitely one you want to use with care. I highly recommend making sure your skin is well-hydrated before applying it. If your skin barrier is compromised or irritated, do not use this, because it can make breakouts and redness worse. It’s very drying on the areas where you apply it, so precision is key - only spot-apply directly on the blemish, not around it, to avoid unnecessary peeling or irritation. When used correctly and with proper prep, it works very effectively. I usually see regular pimples deflate within about 3-4 days, and cystic acne tends to shrink within about 1-1.5 weeks. Overall, a strong spot treatment that delivers results, as long as you use it thoughtfully and keep your skin barrier in mind. P.S. If you have sensitive skin, this product is not your friend; it's a pretty harsh treatment

I got this for my son and it works great for any teen that suddenly gets acne they want to treat quickly. I’d use a little bit of moisturizer after it dries the acne out though because it dries your skin a little bit too. Other than that I’m impressed and i wish i had this when i was younger lol.
