This has been a great bed for my sons so far. We've had it for a few months now. Its looks great and its sturdy. Only issue we had was the ladder bars were hurting my sons feet, but we just cut up some pipe insulation and placed them on the bars and happy feet again!

This bed is not for the picky people. It's for the people that want a cheaper product with a high quality. It had a little creak but unless you are rocking it you can't hear it. The only time I hear it is when I'm getting in or out. Not when I'm rolling over. I'm disappointed that it had to be away from the wall the long way because of the way the hinges are set up, but soon learned the small swaying would drive you crazy if it hit your walls. I bought the mattress that was recommended with this bed, that was a mistake! It is hard to get it to convert. But I don't often convert it so it works fine. The metal latter hurts my feet so I jump up and down! I am going to wrap the latter with arm tape here soon, it had small but noticAble paint chips but the box looked fine. It wasn't cushioned well.but I lucked out and it was on the side that didn't matter to me. The directions weren't great but I think they worked fine. I had extra parts because I decided I didn't need the side rails. My bed is think so it wouldn't help in the slightest it isn't as tell as I thought but that's my fault for not checking the dimensions. Screws constantly come undone requiring to retighten often. Delivered with scratches & paint messed up in several spots. Wobbles a bit much. You will need to tighten screws a lot.

It’s beautiful. Came dinged with scratches/ scuff marks. Not sure if it was from the seller or the shipping. It was for my 60lb 10yr old. We kept the bottom as a couch for a week, but the thing sways and squeaks so much we dropped it to a bed hoping that would help. We’ve had it for about 6 months and she’s fed up. It squeaks every time she gets in/out of bed or rolls over at night. It rocks when she climbs the ladder and she’s terrified it’s going to fall down. We’ve tried tightening the bolts but it doesn’t help. The metal is just too thin for a bunk bed. You get what you pay for. I’ve had metal framed bunk beds but none this poor in quality ... show more

No problems with the bed at all. I'm a senior citizen and put it together by myself (except for one part and needed my husband to hold the part up while I screwed the parts together). I used some "lock-tite" stuff on the threads and found the bed to be pretty strong and, according to my granddaughter, "it only wobbles when I try and make it wobble". I would have given this 5 stars except I was not impressed with how the whole delivery process works. You get one set of instructions and updates from Amazon and another from the delivery service. If it hadn't been for the delivery service sending me a postcard I think the bed would still be sitting in lala land since Amazon didn't share my contact info (email or phone) with the delivery service. Not sure I'll order anything large from Amazon again. ... show more

Lets start with the pros the bed was easy to put together. All parts were in the box. It only took me two hours to put it together. Wish i had bought the bunk bed pad .But that was easy to fix . I measured the top bed and cut the box that it came in to size and used that for the pad.. the cons the bed frame did not arrive the same day that the mattresses did the mattresses arrived two weeks earlier. All were bought on the same day. The frame was to arrive on the 8th of April. I recieved it on the 12th of April.Upon opening box i noticed that there was some little dents in the frame and the paint was chipped a little . I can live with that. All in all the bed is great ... show more

Bed great, shipping was a nightmare. First bed looked like someone parked on it. Return protocol was easy with manufacturer, ungodly with the shipping company. No communication withe the shipping company. Got off phone with manufacturer with a call this number and they will pick up. The shippers were knocking on my door as I hung up the phone. However the guys who offer the bed were super helpful. I will ask who is shipping this on any future freight shipment. I will not buy if they use the shipping company I had this time. ... show more
