    • 4K resolution is good, not much else is...
Monitor has a decent 4k image, but does not support HDR 10. If it does, I'd like to know how. Tried with multiple HDMI cables (the one that came with it, one that works with HDR 10 on another monitor, an 8K HDMI cable, etc.). Intended use was on an Xbox Series X and it refuses to see this as an HDR 10-capable monitor. Web search says ""HDR Ready" vs. True HDR: Many user reports indicate that this monitor uses "HDR Ready" as a marketing term, which often means it can process an HDR signal but cannot display it properly." I would agree. Still trying to decide if I'll keep it or send it back. The image isn't bad. The stand isn't adjustable vertically and it's very wobbly. The OSD is controlled by multiple buttons on the back and I frequently found myself turning the monitor off unintentionally. There's a reason it's as inexpensive as it is. ... show more

    • Very average, nothing exciting
After about a week of using this monitor, I think it's fair to say that this monitor is very "meh." Nothing about it is particularly bad, but nothing about it is really that good, either. As this monitor claims, it does indeed have DCI-P3 color space support. However, when it's on, you can't change any brightness, contrast, or any color settings; if you try, the monitor automatically defaults back to "Standard" color mode (sRGB). By default, this monitor is quite dim, so this limitation is definitely an issue. You'll either have to put up with the monitor being dim, or settle with Standard color mode where the colors are noticeably quite flat and desaturated. Even after messing with the color settings, it seems like this monitor just isn't great at representing colors that well. This monitor also supports HDR, and in my testing with it, it's not bad, but it's not great either. Again, the issue of this monitor's brightness strikes. Colors definitely do seem a bit better--they're not as desaturated, and they feel like they pop a little bit more--but even after calibration, the brightness just wasn't really there. It's certainly not terrible, and I found it looked decent, but it's nothing to write home about. The fact that this monitor supports 4K and has DFR are two pretty neat points about it, I'll give it that. Especially considering that the monitor is 27", a 4K resolution means that this monitor features a very high pixel density. I've personally always prioritized that over screen size, and this monitor is certainly excellent in that regard. DFR is also a welcome feature; it does lower your resolution to 1080p--and at 27", individual pixels become much more noticeable at that resolution--but the monitor becomes capable of 144hz instead of a maximum 72hz at 4K. I'd say it's a decent trade-off, even if you are sacrificing a not-insignificant amount of quality in exchange for a higher refresh rate. Moving on to the stand that the monitor comes with, it's arguably the worst part. It is not height adjustable, which is certainly a huge flaw, especially when considering that the stand is quite short; the monitor sits only 6 inches or so above your desk, so if you have more than one monitor, it's likely this one will be the shortest one out of all of them with this stand. Also, it just doesn't hold your monitor very still. One bump into your desk, or really any vibrations or tremors, will cause it to wobble around. Overall, while this monitor is indeed very competitively priced, if you're in the market for a 4K monitor, I'd highly recommend passing on this one. As they say, you get what you pay for, and as another reviewer here stated, there's indeed a reason why this monitor is priced the way it is. It tries to include all the features of a more expensive monitor, but considering how lackluster they all are, I don't think it's worth it. Save up your money for something better; you'll be glad you did, because you'll certainly be getting something better than this. ... show more

This is a great monitor. Clarity is fantastic and I love the size. It feels bigger than I initially had thought but is very sleek. Set up was as simple as hooking up the cords to add it to my premade setup. Connectivity has had no problems and I'm happy with the screen for my little indie games.
