  • 120hz not 144hz
Style: WQHD (2560 x 1440) 144Hz Size: 31.5-inch
It is a great monitor colors and contrast are great but I developed lines at the bottom of the screen after a few months of use...covered the whole taskbar...if you switch to 120hz instead of 144hz it goes away or it did for me

  • Great upgrade from 1080p for work and gaming
Style: WQHD (2560 x 1440) 144Hz Size: 31.5-inch
This is my first high refresh rate monitor as well as my first monitor above 1080p, so hopefully that helps frame my perspective a bit. That being said, I really like this monitor. Can it be better? Maybe, but it was a huge upgrade for me so I'm please with it. I wanted a larger monitor for work and gaming, as my previous 23" monitor was good but made working with multiple programs difficult. This 32" monitor is an absolute beast. I can easily fit multiple windows/tabs on screen to multitask. The curve looks good too. At first it threw me off (having stared at a flat screen for so many years), but after a few months after purchasing I barely notice it. The picture quality is pretty great. 1440p is a huge upgrade from 1080p, so I'm pleased. Having said that it didn't make as big of a difference as the refresh rate though (in my opinion). Going up to 144Hz from 60Hz is insane and immediately noticeable both on the desktop and in games. I'll never go back. It's also Freesync compatible, which I haven't been able to make use of just yet but plan to in the future (RTX3080 whenever they make more...). Other reviews here have criticized the color, which I agree can use some adjusting, but it's fine once you get the settings right. My biggest issue is a combination of the size and brightness of this monitor. It's just too bright for me. I'm honestly having a hard time putting it far enough away from my face that I can properly utilize it. From reading elsewhere, a monitor this size can sit between 3-5 feet away from you for optimal viewing. I currently sit around 2-3' away from it, and it's a bit of a strain on the eyes. I crank the brightness all the way down and have everything on dark mode to compensate, but still it's a bit bright. I plan to get a bigger desk at some point and will mount it farther away, but something to be wary of if you're pinched for space. In addition to this, be wary if you buy the 32" version compared to the 27" version. In my case, the pixel density of my old 23" 1080p monitor was actually higher than this 32" 1440p monitor, while the 27" version would have been the highest option. On this (32" version), If I'm sitting up close I can actually see pixels at certain points. I can also see some horizontal lines between pixels when using certain screens (more visible on text than anywhere else). Apparently this 'screen door' effect is common for VA panels but again if I sit back to a more comfortable distance I don't see it at all. I didn't know about this going in but honestly it's not a big issue for me. I mentioned earlier that it could be better, and I say that meaning you could buy a more expensive monitor that does some or all of the things this one does but better. Need a faster monitor with even better refresh rates? Go with a TN panel. Want better picture quality? Get an IPS panel. But these also have tradeoffs, namely the TN panels having worse pictures and the IPS panels being quite expensive. When I was looking, IPS panels with high refresh rates and high resolution at THIS SIZE along with Freesync or Gsync seemed to be running in the $500-600+ range, and that's on the lower end. Some of the high end monitors are well over $1000. This monitor was on a crazy sale for $300 when I found it which worked for my budget and was already a monumental upgrade from what I had. If you can find it for a decent price, this is a great monitor. ... show more

  • Not a bad monitor.. it has its pros and cons
Style: WQHD (2560 x 1440) 165Hz Size: 31.5-inch
When I first bought the monitor, and installed everything I had from connecting my iPad and Macbook Pro it was good.. It started to have somewhat of issues like green/purple screen, the limited Hz up to 60, but I’m using a macbook.. if I was to get a gaming setup, I could run it as indicated. So far no dead pixels, lightweight, and can attach to a single monitor arm but be careful on what to buy for it. ... show more
