Once assembled, this looks great! it comes with tiny screws and nuts, so I took off for the ease of assembly. It would be great if they just used a hook latch option. I think that would work very well! Overall, I am happy with the value.

    • Nice looking, but too narrow for pencil tree!!
Small in diameter... I had to leave the last screws/ bolts off due to it being so narrow in circumference and diameter (I have a 12 ft pencil tree). It would be great to offer this in different sizes ( narrow, average/ medium or wide)...

It's just what I was looking for. It's a simple attractive way to hide the Christmas Tree stand and looks really nice with the tree. It was also easy to assemble. I dropped one star because the color isn't accurate in the advertised photo. It's not a Santa Claus red. Instead, it's more of a clay/brick red. This was as described- the color is more rustic red farmhouse not shiny but I can easily paint it. ( this is only reason I didn’t give 5 stars) Fairly easy to assemble - the metal feels durable! I am very happy with my Christmas tree base. It is well made and looks very nice under the tree. I was able to put together easily but my son tightened up the screws/washers with tools for a more secure hold as I plan to keep it together from one Christmas to the next but you could easily take apart each year as well if you prefer. ... show more

I bought this in hopes it would fit the base of my 7.5' tall slim tree. It works wonderfully. I had an issue with the first one that was sent, but the seller quickly rectified the situation. Make sure you measure your tree stand and you won't be disappointed. My metal legs on my tree were just under 20" wide and there's a little room to spare inside this ring. As others have said, it's not exactly Christmas red, so I'll probably spray paint it at some point. Even as is, I think it will make a good backdrop for my Christmas village. ... show more
