  • Good quality
Flavor Name: Lamb & Apple Size: 4.5 Pound (Pack of 1)
I have to go by what my sweet little dog tells me about her food! My sister was visiting with her dog for a few days and they brought Acana food with them. It was the lamb and apple variety. My little girl , who is very particular about her food, ran right over and began to eat this food when my sister put it down for her dog. I decided to try a bag for my girl and she eats it right up. Ingredients appear to be very good. ... show more

  • Fabulous High Quality Food from Duck, what every dog wants for the protein
Flavor Name: Duck & Pear Size: 4.4 Pound (Pack of 1)
Have a 14 year old very overly spoit Pug at home - not by me - that has been hand fed chicken for the last six months as he has refused to eat. I only have fed my dogs very high quality kibble over the years and duck based kibble has always been my go to food especially for my working/ranching dogs and my companion labbies have loved duck kibble as well. So I thought why not give this a try after much research into dog food as there have been so many shocking scandals over the years plus the um meat coming from er tankage issue. No animal of mine would ever be fed such vile stuff. So after the research Acana and a few other brands came up winners and Acana had duck so I gave it a whirl and purchased a small bag. Mr. Excessively Spoilt loves it and can't get enough, proving my almost five decade rule that dogs will always eat duck and the back side noises and scents immediately stopped. I know it's a bit pricey, however, chicken is not inexpensive and the ingredients of cheap dog food or even medium grade food which I will not say or tell...will make you throw up your toenails. This is absolutely worth every penny. ... show more

  • It’s a great dog food
Flavor Name: Duck & Pear Size: 13 Pound (Pack of 1)
My dog is very sensitive to other dog foods . He’s a bichon and they are prone to allergic reactions to most pet foods. Once he tried Acana he fell in love with it and I’m happy . Price point for me is a little high .

  • No Problems and They Like it!
My little girls do well with this, very well. One has some food sensitivities and has been on prescribed food for a while. I purchased this because it sounded similar to the one her vet ordered. It worked equally well. I am pleased and feed both this food. It is a tad expensive but worth it because it does not cause diarrhea or vomiting with either one of them. ... show more

  • My dog loves them
Flavor Name: Duck & Pear Size: 4.4 Pound (Pack of 1)
We tried different brands and so far this one is the only one that my dog keeps eating for over a year now. She would get tired of other brands and not eat them after a few weeks. Also, she is allergic to chicken so these are perfect for her diet. Recommended.

  • Yummy!
Flavor Name: New Turkey & Pumpkin Size: 13.63 Pound (Pack of 1)
I was looking for a grain free product for our older dog. He normally just sniffs at the food and walks away to snack casually on it during the day. When I gave him the pumpkin turkey, he couldn't get it in quick enough and wanted more. Some people wrote there was a stong odor on their reviews but it smelled good to me. We would order this again. ... show more

  • Perfect size to try
Flavor Name: Lamb & Apple Size: 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I like this high quality brand of food for my very picky maltese. The pieces are small enough for her, but I think a bigger dog would like it too. She has tried many of the Acana flavors and this happens to be her favorite. She has even put on a little weight since she switched to this food.

  • Bad luck with ACANA from Amazon
Flavor Name: Duck & Pear Size: 13 Pound (Pack of 1)
A simple buyer beware: I’ve been feeding my dog ACANA duck and pear for over 4 years. I always purchased the 25 lb bags from a pet store in our previous city, and more recently have ordered online from PetCo. PetCo was recently out about 4-6 weeks ago, so I ordered a 13 lb bag from Amazon (this product). My dog suddenly had unexplained, bilous vomiting after we opened this new bag and started feeding it to her. Nothing else changed, she checked out fine at the vet and we started a bland diet. We are also very vigilant about watching her when outside so she doesn’t ingest harmful things, and I’ve been working from home for 8 weeks so she has not even had a chance to get into anything. We also never leave harmful things in her reach anyway, but I digress. After a few days on the bland diet, we transitioned back to the ACANA, at which point our dog could only tolerate it for 2 days then vomited again. Again, we scaled back to the bland diet - she does fine, we start to add back small amounts of the ACANA and boom- vomiting. I got a refund for the first bag as I thought it might be bag. We were sent a new one that we’ve been using in this most recent vomiting episode. I will be requesting a refund and purchasing this food elsewhere, especially due to some of the reviews on here stating the same kind of issue. If you want this food, I would def recommend purchasing elsewhere! ... show more
