Product worked but didn't really work as directions indicated. I followed the directions but never received any way of getting it to run so finally rebooted to then have my laptop (older Lenovo) to see the new Wi-Fi. Also has my original Wi-Fi listed with each (original and this one) now having a way of turning on and off so turned the original laptop Wi-Fi option off and left the new one on. It's been working great for over a week now with the Wi-Fi staying connected even when idle. Very good product especially for the money, laptop now working great where before Wi-Fi kept dropping and not connecting. The Lenovo automatically runs various checks, showed it trying the first Wi-Fi option even though off to fail each of the three steps to then test the Wi-Fi 2nd option for this device to have all three pass.

I refurbish desktop computers and a women's shelter. These PCs don't have built-in Wi-Fi, so I like to use these inexpensive dongles that have the driver built into the dongle rather than having a small CD that can easily get lost after initial installation. That can be a problem later if the PC has to be reloaded sometime later. These also work very well for most applications.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Just plug it in and it worked perfectly for my XP computer. I had a Cudy 650 that kept shutting off every 45 minutes, will return it. This works perfectly and it auto loaded the drivers. I had to buy this because my internal network adapter wouldn't connect to my new Netgear 7 router. A simple fix, disable your internal adapter, plug this puppy in and away you go. Lightning fast now. I love my XP, I have Windows 10/11 laptops with office 365 and I hate them. Give me my old XP any day for my email, Word and Excel.

I couldn't connect to an access point two walls away without intermittent issues. If you're planning on putting it on a machine within the same room, its fine, I guess, but its slow and sensitive. It's as easy and functional to use and you'd think, though.

Haven’t had this long and it just stopped working one day. The connection took a min to happen but once it did it was pretty decent. I want to replace but debating another brand.

Easy to use. This inexpensive literally plug-and-play adpter is small but efficient. All I had to do was plug it to an empty USB port knmy PC and follow the automatic prompts for installation. Blue tooth internet access is not as fast as a direct cable link but lag in time is slight. This is a great item.
