  • These fit and work great in my NVR Wall mounted Lock box.
It looks like a well-made fan. I for this one even though it's a little wider than my old cheap fan because it's supposed to be quite. It is some as the other one was going bad and making more noise than normal. It's not as quiet as I had expected though. It is in the garage, even though we walk by it every day. It's used in my NVR lockbox mounted up on the wall. It was one fan on the side blowing out. So I replaced it and added a second one. So the same side is blowing out, and the one on the other side is blowing in. 2 fans now so double the noise of 1 fan I assume. I'll see how well it works like this. There are 2 direction arrows on it. One shows airflow direction, the other shows what way the fan is going to spin. While the Plug has a fat end so it can only plug in one way. It really wouldn't matter as the fan will s[in the same direction even if you could turn it around. I ended up cutting the plugs off anyway so I could directly wire them up to my Temp controller I have mounted on my case. When it hits 80F it will power them both ON and when it's below that they both go off. These fans are covered by a 30-day free return policy and a TWO YEAR hassle-free warranty. They cover all costs including shipping for returns and exchanges and warranty claims. At least they is what they say as I haven't put that to the test as my fans are brand new. One issue I did have is when I powered it up, one fan wasn't running. I stuck a screwdriver into the fan to see if it would spin, and it did but was making a bad noise. It ended up tightening a couple of screws a little too light putting it into just enough of a bind. I started to loosen a couple up a bit and the noise went away and all is good now. Don't panic if this happens to you. Simple fix!!! ... show more

  • Quiet and Effective
Nice quiet fan I set next to my Motorola modem/router to keep it cool; nothing fancy, it just sits next to my modem and keeps air circulating. I've had it running continuously for over a year without any issues. I occasionally use a can of compressed air to clear the dust from the case and fan blades. I also like that this fan has a plug and is ready to use. Great product. ... show more

  • Great fan for my keezer build
This is a great little fan for my keezer that I built. The typcial chest freezer with wood collar (8 inch riser), as you know the temperature difference from the bottom of the freezer to the top of the freezer can be 10-15F difference. Well that's enough to have your exposed beer lines foam up. Well this fan, mounted at the top, blowing air down circulates the cold air around to keep it an even temperature. This fan is quiet, and I specially chose the low speed model as my keezer was going to be inside the house, I wanted to keep noise down. This fan pushes more than enough air per minute and it's energy draw is so little that I can run it non-stop without worry. I will highly recommend you plug this fan into a GFCI outlet or GFCI adapter outlet (adapter outlet on amazon - less than 13 bucks). Because the inside of a keezer can be humid, it's important to protect yourself. What the description doesn't tell you is that the power cord is removable. That is a huge bonus! It plugs right into the fan. Note, the diameter of the plug is approximately 9/16" but I needed a 7/8" hole to fit the plug (not ac part) through the keezer wall. A piece of cork plugged the hole with the wire passing through it. Overall the fan is solid, looks nice and comes all the bolts, nuts, rubber washers and good documentation. I would highly recommend this fan if you're looking for a fan that is AC powered. ... show more

  • COOLING OUR DISH SATELLITE SYSTEM
Brought the temperature down in our DISH Hopper cabinet 10 to 18 degrees. System seems to be running better! The fan is very small and very quiet.

  • A good fan and a good value
I bought this fan because I have a Dynaco vacuum tube preamp that I just love to listen music through and it has a tendency to get real hot because I have it inside of cabinet with very little air circulating around it. One time it shut down and I am pretty sure it was do to the heat. I bought this fan to cool off the chassis. My first issue was whether or not to put the fan grill on or leave it bare. After a couple times of sticking my finger into the fan (which does not hurt the fingers but will eventually damage the propeller) I put the grill on. However the bolts are bit long and stick through the other side so I had to cut them with bolt cutters and then file them and it was a hassle - but I did it. Then I had to figure out the best place to put the fan. I put it on top of the unit and that worked well to cool it, but the noise was a little audible and so I just placed it behind the preamp, blowing the air out the back of the cabinet. That seems to work very well and the fan noise is barely audible to these 60 year old ears. Overall, this is a good fan. A smaller and quieter one would have been nice, but those often don't come with a built-in 120 volt plug. They require a separate 12 volt source which I did not want to hassle with. ... show more

  • Quiet ventilation for my printer enclosure
Put this AC Infinity muffin fan in my 3D printer enclosure about two months ago and it's been running non-stop since. I needed something to vent ABS fumes without sounding like a jet engine, and this thing is genuinely quiet - can barely hear it over the printer itself. Moves enough air that my enclosure doesn't turn into a sauna but it's not so aggressive that it messes with bed temps. The 120V AC is nice because I just wired it to a smart plug instead of dealing with DC adapters and extra cables. Been printing almost daily and it just keeps chugging along. The low speed is actually perfect for this application since you don't want crazy airflow disrupting prints. Solid choice if you need ventilation without the noise. ... show more
