  • What I Was Looking For
I have my old 60's tube mono block amplifiers mounted in an audio cabinet because of dogs and grandkids. It's an open back cabinet but can still get warm. This fan greatly reduces the heat, is whisper quiet and no vibration. Love the air circulation it produces. It should greatly increase my tube life. ... show more

  • Better than expected
It is quiet and works well. Have it in door way to move air from room to another. Wish it would come with a longer cord.

  • Quality Product, great price, excellent output!
Second purchase here! I bought one as a guinea pig test model and loved it so I returned and bought 2 more! I use these for temp control on my snake terrariums and they work perfectly. Fan is plugged into a cooling switch set to 94°. When enclosure reaches temp, fan kicks on and cools terrarium 8 degrees in just under 2 mins on my 40gal. Super quiet, low RPM high output! (Runs quieter that my laptop built in fan).. the key to quiet is low rpm with these. The seller offers a high rpm model, but for me this works perfect with little to no noise! Excellent quality, fairly heavy for its size but with quality usually comes weight.. 120v standard US plug (2 pole). Cages for front and back to protect blades (cages removable via included screws). Electrical cord approximately 6’ long, no switch on cord just straight powered so if you don’t want it running continuously you will need a switching mechanism of some sort. Great product! ... show more

  • Quiet and efficient
Replaced on older fan in a home brewer's keeper to circulate air while the unit is cooling. I cannot believe how quiet this fan is and it moves a good amount of air. It is easy to install and includes a wire with a typical electrical plug.

  • Helps circulate air inside an aging chamber.
I really like the look and feel of this unit. It’s very sturdy and well designed. I’m currently using it in a homemade curing chamber to help circulate air while I dry-age meat. I have it mounted inside a small fridge which is set to 39 degrees. It’s hooked to a timer which causes it to cycle for 15 minutes every two hours - just enough to create a small air flow. When I received it, I was very impressed with the packaging and aesthetics - unfortunately the first unit failed within 24 hours of installation. I returned it and requested a replacement - which was promptly delivered. I held off on the review for several weeks to measure the second units performance and I’m please to note that it is still performing as it did initially. ... show more

  • Works great for my WIFI router.
The temperature was around 150F, this fan just laying on top of the vent, pulling air, dropped the temperature to 111F I'd say that's a good fan for the money. Got a higher price router? This will extend it's life. Noise level is low but not silent of course. Rated to work for 7.6 years (67000 hours). Dual ball bearing motor and metel frame is great. This is not some weak USB fan, it's a real utility class device. ... show more

  • These fit and work great in my NVR Wall mounted Lock box.
It looks like a well-made fan. I for this one even though it's a little wider than my old cheap fan because it's supposed to be quite. It is some as the other one was going bad and making more noise than normal. It's not as quiet as I had expected though. It is in the garage, even though we walk by it every day. It's used in my NVR lockbox mounted up on the wall. It was one fan on the side blowing out. So I replaced it and added a second one. So the same side is blowing out, and the one on the other side is blowing in. 2 fans now so double the noise of 1 fan I assume. I'll see how well it works like this. There are 2 direction arrows on it. One shows airflow direction, the other shows what way the fan is going to spin. While the Plug has a fat end so it can only plug in one way. It really wouldn't matter as the fan will s[in the same direction even if you could turn it around. I ended up cutting the plugs off anyway so I could directly wire them up to my Temp controller I have mounted on my case. When it hits 80F it will power them both ON and when it's below that they both go off. These fans are covered by a 30-day free return policy and a TWO YEAR hassle-free warranty. They cover all costs including shipping for returns and exchanges and warranty claims. At least they is what they say as I haven't put that to the test as my fans are brand new. One issue I did have is when I powered it up, one fan wasn't running. I stuck a screwdriver into the fan to see if it would spin, and it did but was making a bad noise. It ended up tightening a couple of screws a little too light putting it into just enough of a bind. I started to loosen a couple up a bit and the noise went away and all is good now. Don't panic if this happens to you. Simple fix!!! ... show more

  • Great fan for my keezer build
This is a great little fan for my keezer that I built. The typcial chest freezer with wood collar (8 inch riser), as you know the temperature difference from the bottom of the freezer to the top of the freezer can be 10-15F difference. Well that's enough to have your exposed beer lines foam up. Well this fan, mounted at the top, blowing air down circulates the cold air around to keep it an even temperature. This fan is quiet, and I specially chose the low speed model as my keezer was going to be inside the house, I wanted to keep noise down. This fan pushes more than enough air per minute and it's energy draw is so little that I can run it non-stop without worry. I will highly recommend you plug this fan into a GFCI outlet or GFCI adapter outlet (adapter outlet on amazon - less than 13 bucks). Because the inside of a keezer can be humid, it's important to protect yourself. What the description doesn't tell you is that the power cord is removable. That is a huge bonus! It plugs right into the fan. Note, the diameter of the plug is approximately 9/16" but I needed a 7/8" hole to fit the plug (not ac part) through the keezer wall. A piece of cork plugged the hole with the wire passing through it. Overall the fan is solid, looks nice and comes all the bolts, nuts, rubber washers and good documentation. I would highly recommend this fan if you're looking for a fan that is AC powered. ... show more
