I bought the compressor kit and after they installed it the first day it stopped working. It worked some times and other times it didn't, I took it to the shop, they checked everything again and it was working, and a few days later it started doing the same thing, just sometimes it worked and other times it didn't, I took it to the shop again and changed valves, lines and condenser a few days later it started doing the same thing and now it's stuck. What they say is that it's the clutch that doesn't work. ... show more

I just barely put this kid in yesterday. The transition was nice and smooth, and I like that all the extra seals and replacement washers were in the kit. Only time will tell if the compressor continues to operate efficiently. I flushed out the entire system and make sure no contaminants were in any of it. ... show more

    • Hang in there, it will start getting cold eventually.
Welllll....it works eventually. Bought this for my 'ol dying car and had the auto shop install. saved my a couple hundred in mark up and thanks guys for the install. Now it takes between 5 and 10 min to really start feeling the cold air. In not impressed but I'm really just trying to have a working AC for when I trade in the car. If you're fixing your forever car then I'd buy a better brand or just have the shop do what they do. ... show more

    • OIL?
Compressor and all parts fit perfectly. The two issues I ran into. 1. The compressor lot came with a bottle of PAG oil. Before installing the compressor I find the label that says 160cc. PAG oil. I proceed to put in the oil only to find it already has oil. Made quite a mess. Removed All Oil And Refilled. Should have been a label or an instructoin 2 compressor suction line O ring there was not one in the kit. I was able to remove the old one and it was in good condition. ... show more
