    • Needs more bracing
I put this on a metal platform bed. The strap was good but not sufficient for keeping it in place. We put velcro strips in various places and it's now stable. Also used a cable tie. I cut the pocket that says don't cut the pocket because I needed to access the corners of the top in order to get out of bed. And I didn't turn into a pumpkin!     • A solution for one of my misadventures. Better than any alternative rail I’ve had or used
This rail is handy. I like the pockets. It was not very easy to install because my mattress was too heavy and large for one person to get the strap under the mattress to hook onto the bed frame. Once don’t it’s steady and works well on my adjustable bed. All bed rails make it hard to get into and out of bed. This smaller rail is some better but I find I have to crawl onto the bed to get far enough in bed before I turn over. If I set on the bed I cannot get far enough in the bed so that my fee do not hang off the foot of the bed. I’m just 5 foot 3. I have a broken wrist and cannot put pressure into it or pull to get into the bed around the rail except to crawl in and flip over with thus arm held high to avoid any contact with the rail or the bed until I can settle down. This rails looks nice on my bed and does not make my bed look like it’s ‘sick room’ equipped. ... show more

    • Great way to keep your loved one from falling out of bed!
Update: The person I purchased for is so appreciative as this has made getting in and out of bed easy again. Pretty impressive since they were completely against it and would not order one themselves. Purchased for elderly who was completely against having a rail of any kind but had begun falling out of bed. It is small enough to reach around to alarm clock on bedside table AND to be able to sit up and easily get out of bed. Easy to install. They love it for helping them to sit up in bed, as that had been a struggle. Have not fallen out of bed since installation. Soft handle is easy to grip. Pockets are great for the remote and phone to be in at night for easy retrieval. Attitude towards “bed rail” is now positive. Definitely recommend this for anyone who needs a little help either staying in bed and/or getting into a sitting position from laying down. Can be installed on either side of bed. ... show more

    • Works like it should
I had my brother and brother in law install it. I believe it does take two people to install it. As a caregiver It’s a great invention that protects my back. I no longer have to pull my loved one into a seated position or watch them struggle to get up.
