Features

  • Experience Unparalleled Anchoring Power: a 17" solid, one-piece 304 stainless steel spike/auger with a robust 1/2" OD and a three-turn design for extra grip. Our Sand Anchor's rings and rods are meticulously threaded then welded. Shorter yet mightier than 18" or 36" anchors, it's the perfect pick for easy storage and transport in tight spots.
  • Triple-Turn Power: Unlike some of the anchors in the market that only has one turn on the corkscrew, this anchor has three turns giving it a little bit more anchoring power. This added depth of penetration into the sand ensures a much stronger and more stable hold, making it exceptionally effective even in challenging conditions. Impressive load capacity: 4400 lbs.
  • Solid Connection Between Ring and Rod: Our Sand Anchor's rings and rods are meticulously threaded then welded, ensuring a stronger hold than traditional welded anchors. The ring also serves as the crossbar mount. The removable handle, crafted with stainless steel and sponge hand grips, adds convenience and comfortable.
  • Versatile Anchor Point: Our Sand Anchor Kit features a sturdy screw-in post, providing an anchor point for watercraft where other points are lacking. Ideal for loose soil/sandy ground, the screw design ensures secure anchoring (Note: Difficulties may arise in excessively hard soil, if too hard, moisten ground to ease installation.).
  • Versatile & Enjoy Quick Setup: The spiral design acts like a screw, effortlessly driving itself deeper with rotational force for maximum stability. Designed for watercraft up to 25', Reliable for all small and medium-sized boats, including kayaks and motorboats, excels in shallow or deep water, beaches, and sandbars.

  • Surprisingly well-built and worked for my boat
I have a 16.5 ft Lund side console fishing boat. I have a specific spot on three different nearby reservoirs where I like to beach and get out to stretch my legs and rest in the shade. Normally what I'd do is get both of my 15 pound river anchors, tie one to stern, and one to bow, and then bring them on shore. The bow anchor goes about 30' on shore, and the stern about 30' upwind to keep the boat straight. I've always been a tad nervous about letting it leave my sight with just the anchors. With this thing, I only have to drag one anchor out. It's easy to twist into a mud/sand/pea gravel shore and I felt comfortable attaching my boat to it with a carabiner. The quality is surprisingly good and it's stout enough for my fishing boat. In any condition I'm comfortable fishing in, I would trust this. For me that's sustained winds up to 10mph, with limited gusting. Beyond that I just don't go out because I don't like being rocked all over in my smallish boat. So I don't know how well it'd hold in, say, a surprise thunderstorm. For how easy it is to use, how relatively little space it takes in the bow storage, and the price, it's worth it to me to take along and use. ... show more

  • Perfect But Be Careful
So this is exactly as advertised but I want to warn people. When you receive it be very careful handling the package. My anchor had poked all the way through the box and jabbed me in the hand. Then when I put it in the carrying bag it immediately poked a hole in the bottom. I wish the bags were thicker and sturdier but they still get the job done. Just be careful handling it- maybe they will use some kind of foam or other packing material in the future to prevent this. ... show more

  • Solid anchor
Works well. If installed correctly it will secure your boat to the beach for temporary use. The only downfall is the cheap carry bag.

  • Sand Anchor Works Very Well
I bought a 19 foot runabout to use on the Missouri River and needed something to tie down to when on a sandbar. I ordered the Abimars Store 17 inch spiral sand anchor kit for this purpose. The anchor is made out of stainless steel and is built very heavy duty. It also comes with a handle that is used to twist the anchor into the sand. The nice storage bag is icing on the cake. This sand anchor works very well. ... show more

  • Super-handy, high quality, sturdy, stainless-steel sand anchor
I got this spiral boat anchor for my boat. I don’t beach it often, but when I do, I certainly don’t want it to go anywhere without me. This spiral anchor – plus some rope – should take care of that. Well, perhaps another anchor to keep the stern from swinging. The ½” diameter steel rod part of the anchor is very sturdy and has a nice point on the business end. The spirals “threads” or “screws” as they call them, are very well welded on. The leading edge of the spiral screw is rounded, not sharp, but it digs though the sand easily without it. The cross-bar is a good length for leverage and is comfortable to use with the foam-covered handles. I am able to easily twist the anchor into my kids’ sandbox past the sand and into the soil beneath. The included storage bag is well-sewn if not a little long, perhaps 6” more than it needs. I might get my wife to sew that end off and use that piece to reinforce the bottom. I think I’ll have her shorten the draw-cord carry strap at the same time. Clearly, these are very minor issues. Other than that, I wish the shaft had a flat spot where I could inscribe my name so I can get it back when someone steals it. LOL. Kidding, but it is that nice that someone just might be tempted! • Strong
This sand anchor kit is a beach essential for anyone who loves spending time by the shore. It's incredibly easy to use - just screw it into the sand, attach your umbrella or tent, and enjoy a worry-free day without constantly readjusting your setup. The durable construction ensures it stays firmly in place, even on windy days. My only minor gripe is that it can be a bit tricky to screw into extremely compacted sand, but overall, it's a fantastic investment for beachgoers seeking convenience and stability ... show more

  • Very Heavy Duty
This anchor is surprisingly heavier than I thought it would be. It is well made, and the handle for screwing it into the ground is comfortable with the soft grups. It has a good point on the end and the spiral part is the right angle for digging in easily. So far, we have used it to help hold our umbrella on the beach when it is a bit windy, but I will also use it for anchoring my kayak while I am fishing. It even comes with a little carry back that holds the anchor, the handle, and a rope. ... show more

  • Looks like its more for a PWC or small boat than anything large.
I don't think I would trust this to hold a larger boat over 18' in place unattended. That said it is pretty good and will hold jet skis and pwcs just fine. Even smaller boats or as a secondary anchor point to keep the stern toward the beach while partying. Pretty useful except for larger craft or in heavy winds/surf. ... show more
