This mega-kit of 80 colors of acrylic paint is fantastic for making sure you have a raw, unmixed paint color that's very close to the color you want. This can be great for keeping your colors nice and vibrant, with sharp, even tones. These colors also mix very well for an infinite spectrum of available colors. I like to paint a grisaille layer (the underpainting), a value study with a mix of raw umber (brown) and pthallo blue (very vivid blue), so those can combine into a dark grey / near-black that has a lot of temperature in it, maybe add some titanium white to lighten/desaturate, then additional layers can retain some of that sharp temperature contrast and fluctuating tones can be achieved. Sometimes those additional layers might be glazed oils. That works great just be sure to give it ample drying time between so oil/acrylic don't mix, and don't later paint acrylic over oils, only oils over acrylic (or primer) I also tried these in an airbrush, watered down to a milky consistency, and they worked well with good coverage and drying time at about 40psi with my single-action siphon fed. The paints arrive with a seal within a seal style cap, where the white squeeze cap top actually just compresses a smaller, inner cap into a good seal inside, so take off the white cap to remove the inner one before (and after too, if you like) each use. Replacing that after you've finished with that color will do wonders to keep your paint fresh and ready years later. I only wish it came with some kind of stand, that could fan out the colors for easy review. That would be a great addition. Maybe if the bottles had the right system of grooves and rails they could interlock into roughly the right staircase arrangement, maybe that would be a cost effective way to do it.

This is a decent set of paint. 80 different colors is a pretty big size so you've got plenty of color options. The consistency and thickness of the paint is not the absolute best but it's not bad either. I'd say it's middle of the road. They are easy enough to use with the little flip tops on the bottles. I prefer a flip top vs a pour as it keeps things cleaner. I would like if it had better consistency. Just shake them bottles up really well and you should get an overall smooth appearance when you apply the paint to canvas. Or like I did you can use it on glass and/or wood. Any surface really. At the time of writing this review the cost is $50 which is a bit high for the quality. But because of the sheer number of color choices I think it's worth it. Depends on what is most important to you. It would make a really nice gift.

These colors are beautiful and blend well together. The bottles come with a plastic insert to keep them nice and can be replaced after use. The texture isn’t super thick but like normal acrylic paints. Easy to use and apply to a canvas with either brush or finger paints. I tested out a handful of paints by accident painting a beach scene. They blended well together and didn’t stain my hands after. The names are written clearly on the front of the bottles.

This is a MASSIVE set of acrylics! Very heavy as it comes with a lot! This would be a great gift item for the painter in your life. Usually paint sets are a bit minimal in comparison, with a small range of colors or a too small amount of each color. At 2 oz of paint per bottle and 80 total bottles, there’s plenty to blend and mix and work with!

This is a large set of acrylic paint. It has a plethora of colors to choose from, which makes art time easy! The colors dry matte and do not shine. So, if you are looking for a shiny finish, you will need to buy a gloss varnish to seal your art after you are done painting. I will say that to actually get good coverage, like the product description says, you need to do more than 1 coat. If you are painting on a white canvas, one coat of this paint can leave the canvas under the paint showing through your brush strokes. To eliminate this, just add another coat. Additionally, the metallic paints did not show any glitter or shine effects after drying. My son painted a dolphin in the water and used the pearl paint for the water, but after drying, you cannot see any pearling. I think that these paints are great for school projects or arts and crafts time at home with your kids. However, I would not consider using them for any professional type of art project. I have been painting for 3 years now professionally and I can't see myself using these paints in any of my paintings because the coverage is not good and the metallics don't shine.

I’m already a huge fan of ABIEER paints, and this set did not disappoint. The color variety is incredible and gives so many options for painting. I especially love the metallic and brighter shades included. The paints have good pigmentation and layer nicely on canvas. They work well for both beginners and more experienced artists. I’ve used them for abstract painting and mixed media projects already. The consistency feels smooth and easy to blend. You get a lot of paint for the price, which makes this an amazing value. I also appreciate how organized and visually satisfying the set looks. Overall, this is a fantastic paint collection for any artist. I'm gonna need a lot more space for all of these. 😍
