1/1/2023 Update After Several weeks of hearing nothing from Abahub, a rep did reach out to me via Amazon as they must have seen my initial 1-star review here (documented below). After some back-and-forth about the nature of the problem, they agreed to send me a replacement unit and did so promptly. My wife also used that opportunity to ask for a color change, which they also honored. This ended up being a good customer service transaction which has resolved the problem of the slow leak with a replacement of the original item. I have bumped my review up to 4 stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW I bought 3 of these in 2022. The functionality of the product is very good. There are a few shortcomings in the design such as the way the fin is attached and the fit and finish, but for the price, they are pretty decent with lots of extras and I would give them 4 stars based on that alone. My problem however is with Abahub's Support team. The only way to contact them is via website and I never received a response or any sort of indication that they received my message. One of our three SUPs has a slow leak around where the valve sits. I've switched out valves but it didnt help There's clearly a defect in the material. As this is still under warranty, I was hoping for a replacement, but my inquiry appears to have fallen into a black hole. For that reason alone, I can not recommend Abahub products. What good is a warranty if they wont even honor it? It's really too bad.

I bought the 31" wide version. If the body of water you plan on skimming has much movement, I strongly recommend bumping up to the wider version. It's a bit shaky. Also, the pressure gauge on the pump never worked, had to guess. When I asked about a replacement gauge, they said to buy a 3rd party pump and they would reimburse but never described how that transaction word work. Guess I'll go by feel.

I have had this board for almost 2 years. Unfortunately for me, it only had a 1 year manufacture warranty on it. Now let me say, I loved it while it worked! I loved the width of the board and felt very stable! It was always stored in my home and never left inflated for any extended period of time. But after going out to paddle in the morning, I left it on the roof of my car in the sun for 2 hours, and it blew the side seam out. I loved this one so much, I thought about buying it again, but I think I will find a board with a manufactured 2 year warranty. As if this one had that, I could have had help replacing it! I feel like considering I never left this inflated all summer, or stored it outside, it should have lasted a little more than 23 months.

I love this SUP the accessories are awesome and all fit easily in backpack. Inflation takes awhile manually at least 30 min of constant pumping. to get it to max psi, I recommend an electric pump, / deflates quickly. The reason for the 3 stars is the psi on pump does not work. And unless I return the entire sup and all I can not get a new one. So I do not know how much air is it. I know its not enough but don't want to pop. Currently looking for an SUP pump only so I can take advantage of it.

I selected this option after reviewing many different board types, models and manufacturers. As a preface I am not overly agile and weigh 250 lbs. I had horrible thoughts of inflatables being unsturdy and that it would fold flat in my first attempt to use.... but that is far from the truth!!!! This is solid! I am very glad I ended up getting an inflatable instead of a solid board. This comes with what I thought was the best accessory assortment as well. The travel backpack.... is huge.... I do not see myself ever actually using that. The hand pump works well, yes it will take you a long, time to air it up that first time and to get it "full enough". You can Macgyver a way to use an air compressor so long as you keep an eye on the pressure. The chair/backrest is fantastic (remember 250 lbs) I was worried about my weight being held there or that too much pressure would be on those little D rings, but nope, works great, folds flat enough to not be in the way if you change from sitting to standing. I was concerned that I would not be able to sit straddle style as this is a wider board than the one I tried renting, (I am also short, 5 foot 5) but it works fine and I had no issues. ---- Since my first season I have gotten a few additional accessories: A portable electric air compressor, a leash to help tether multiple paddlers together when resting, and a netting pouch for storage. ---- Some things to keep in mind if you are a first time paddler, watch youtube videos on how to smoothly transition from sitting to standing, contact your local sportings goods shop and see if you can RENT one to try before you buy, consider how you will transport this large beast to the body of water, and know that most places require a life jacket (where i live i do not have to have it on me, but i have it with me?). This is a great hobby I have already enjoyed so much! Looking forward to my second season!
