Color: black-4 piece sup paddle

Features

  • CARBON DESIGN - LIGHTWEIGHT & DURABLE: Made of premium quality 1.25mm thick carbon fiber composite shaft, and fiberglass reinforced polypropylene blades, this sup/kayak paddle is impact and erosion resistent, thus for great durability. It is perfect for beginner and intermediate kayakers/paddlers.
  • MULTI USE FOR SUP & KAYAK: This 4-sections multi use paddle is designed to convert easily into a kayak paddle (2 drip rings included) or a sup paddle. The anti-twist clamp and locking pin system prevents loosening in the water. The paddle floats in both salt and fresh water, so no need to worry paddle falling.
  • FULLY ADJUSTABLE TO DIFFERENT USE: Once assembled to a sup paddle, it can be adjusted easily from 66 to 84, to fit most paddlers with different use. Our recommended paddle length is your height plus 6-8 for SUP surfing, plus 8-10 for flatwater and plus 10-12 for SUP racing. Once assembled to a kayak paddle, the length of this oar is set at 89 inches/226 cm, so it could fit most people over 5'5" with the common kayak width of 24' - 28'.
  • TRAVEL FRIENDLY: With the premium carbon fiber shaft, the total weight of the 4 piece is 44 oz; when assembled, the sup paddle weighs just 28 oz while the kayak paddle weighs 39 oz. When disassembled, the package size is 33''x7.2'', which is convenient to carry around. *Important: And the maximum scale line should not be located above the clamp to avoid damaging it.

  • Exactly the sup/kayak hybrid paddle I needed
Color: blue-4 piece sup paddle
This is exactly the paddle I needed. The shaft is carbon and lightweight. Most sup paddles are pretty heavy and it is amazing what just an extra pound can do. This was the lightest combo/hybrid paddle I could find. I love that it has the drip rings. Another option I was considering did not have them. They don't matter when you are in sup mode, but they come in handy in kayak mode. My dog sits in front of me and he'd be so sad if I dripped on him with every stroke. Tip- if you get this paddle and can't get the drip rings on, you can heat them with a hair dryer to soften them up (this is what I had to do). If you don't have a hair dryer in your house you may be able to soften them by sitting them out in the hot sun on the hood of your car or something like that. Note that the clamp tightens (or loosens) by being in the open position and then turning it kind of like a wingnut. You don't need a socket wrench or any other tool to use it. I think another reviewer didn't understand the mechanism. I purchased some sup/kayak paddle straps that have clips on them to hold the extra piece of paddle or sup handle on my board while I am not using it. They clip to the D-rings on your board. I got a 4-pack, and one set can hold the assembled pieces and the other set can hold the extra piece. The 4-pack was around 6 dollars. Definitely have a plan for holding whichever piece you aren't gonna be using. I love that you can adjust the offset of the paddle blades to whatever you want. Some paddles only click-in in one position. I personally like my blade offset at around 25 degrees and it is so simple to put it there, and as long as you have adjusted the tension on the clamp properly, it will stay in place. If you don't know what I mean by blade offset, I mean the way one blade is positioned in relation to the other blade. Original kayak paddles were often set at a 90-degree offset which made for a lot of extra, unnecessary wrist rotations. Then 45 degree offsets became more popular. I have always preferred an even lesser offset. Play with it to see what works best for you. The sup paddle can extend pretty long, and I like that because I don't like hunching over to paddle. I am skeptical about the quality/longevity of the clamp piece because it is very lightweight. It feels cheap, but it might just feel that way because it is so lightweight. It is carbon, which is strong. Time will tell. I have a lot of paddling experience with whitewater kayaking, so that is where my paddle knowledge and experience comes from, and why I can't tolerate a cheap heavy paddle that wreaks havoc on wrist and shoulder joints. This paddle is worth the extra money. If you are ready to ditch the cheap, heavy paddle that came free with your board, get this one. Don't waste your energy with an exclusively one-bladed sup paddle, because it is so nice to be able to sit down for a while and paddle evenly on both sides without the awkwardness of having to turn the sup paddle around repeatedly (especially when a storm kicks up and you are trying to make time in windy conditions). Note, this is not indestructable. Treat it kindly. It is carbon and you can break it if you are trying to pole your way along rocks or use it to stabilize yourself getting on and off your board with all of your weight. Think expensive carbon road bike versus a beach cruiser. ... show more

  • very nice paddle for the price
Color: orange-4 piece sup paddle
Ultimately I ended up returning this paddle but wanted to write a review because for the money this is a nice paddle. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is why I returned it. It’s more a kayak paddle then a SUP paddle; and I stand almost exclusively. I wanted to try a conversion paddle for the off times i’ve had to sit and paddle like a kayak. It’s not a bad SUP paddle, it’s just the SUP paddle I was replacing was a bright nice paddle and that’s what i’m used to. This paddle is light and comfortable and performs well; if you sit most of the time and want to stand occasional; this is definitely the paddle for you. ... show more

  • Tight fit
Color: blue-4 piece sup paddle
Excellent paddle, very lightweight and the sections fit together tightly without wobbling unlike many other paddles. Great price for a partial carbon paddle.

  • Love! Love! Love!
Color: green-4 piece sup paddle
This is the perfect paddle! I paddleboard and kayak regularly, so the versatility of this paddle works great for me! It switches from single to double easily, so if I decide to paddleboard while sitting, I can swap out quickly. It’s extremely lightweight, so I almost feel like I’m holding nothing. The blades are wide enough to propel with ease. I have a weak shoulder, so the lighter weight and ease of paddling have been fantastic. I highly recommend this paddle!! Oh, it also floats and comes in bright colors for high visibility ... show more

We like this paddle. It's good quality for the price. It works well, breaks down easy, isnlightweight, didn't break, and didn't cost a ton of money.

  • Pretty good
Color: orange-4 piece sup paddle
Great sup paddle, okay kayak paddle great combo. The connectors are where your hands go when kayaking but if it's a secondary thing for a sup then that's fine. Very light and seems sturdy. Very good for the price. I've paid much more for crappier sup paddles and this does both. Good fitment on the peices. Adjuster kinda weak ... show more

  • Very Sleek Design and feels very Durable
Color: black-4 piece sup paddle
I recently got a Kayak but it did not come with a paddle. I was looking for a nicer paddle with carbon fiber build and this was a perfect fit. I have other aluminum paddles that are way cheaper and lighter than this but obviously it does not feel very sleek and rigid although nothing have happened to those paddles. I will probably update the review depending on how it holds since I have only taken these paddle out a couple times. The joint section has a snap clip on one of the corners and that part is connected by some screws. This is the only section that feels a little sketchy and a little weak. So in other connecting paddles generally you snap them in and theres a small bulge part that snaps into the hole and locks it. But since this has a snap on feature sometimes the paddle on both ends are not always straight so you have to level them quite often. But again for a carbon fiber paddle under $100 this probably is not the worst problem. ... show more

  • Paddle snapped in half
Color: green-4 piece sup paddle
I wanted to love this paddle, and did until it snapped in half on me (luckily at the start of an upstream paddle...) Really, it had been great up until then. It's lightweight, and doesn't have horrible seams where it joins to leave blisters, and extends long enough for people over 5'5". And to be fair, I paddle a lot...but I've had other paddles longer and have NEVER had one literally split into two pieces in my hands! Still....the real reason for the one star is the lack of customer support (NO response) when I tried to reach out to the manufacturer about it. ... show more
