These landscape staples were just what I needed to thwart our puppy from digging out of the yard. We put up several, then decided to wait until the ground was wet to finish. The dry,clay soil caused the staples to bend. However, they will do the trick.

I bought these stakes to help keep my hanging plant poles upright instead of leaning forward when I put the plant on them. I put one of these stakes into the ground over the anchor for the plant holder right next to the pole and the pole stayed straight up when I added the potted plant!
