Product is great but it prevents the headphones from.charging in base. I just pop one ear piece off when i charge everynight (theyre magnetic if you dont have the a50s yet) thats the only reason i didnt give 5 stars.

These are more comfortable than the stock cushions. Even though the headset is heavier than my old turtle beaches, these cushions make them feel more secure and comfortable in comparison.

install requires you to ruin your existing ear cups because you have to use the magnetic plates. I bought these because my previous ear cups were beginning to fall off the magnetic plate after 5 years of use. This made my audio quality horrible, everything became tinny and washed in treble, and decreased volume. I thought maybe I had ruined my headset somehow in the install. I bought a backup ear cup set from Astro, and luckily that returned my headset to the five star standard I knew.

These are no different from the original mod kit, in fact its more comfortable with your ear and easy to replace

The only reason they don't get a 5☆ is due to the fact that they don't dampen sound as well as the factory ones. They still dampen sound, but not as well as the factory ones (which you're lucky to hear any outside noise, while wearing). As far as installation, it was easy. As far as comfort, they're great. As far as durability, I've had them for a year and they're still perfectly fine. So 9/10.
