Why do I love love LOVE the style? Because it's well made and the colors and patterns are vibrant and the cost is so low that I can have a different quilt for every season of the year-- (plus a pepperminty one for December and NOW this rampant orange for October. )When living in a small apartment makes it tough to move furniture around, having a modest collection of these spreads is a wonderful affordable EASY way to change up the environment. Yes they are lightweight-- but that's part of their charm. In a hot hot summer, I use one over a light cotton blanket or just a bedsheet. In fall and winter I layer them with a puffy duvet or fleecy woolly blankets. I've usually aimed for 100% cotton so was slightly uncertain about this one being a cotton blend-- but it's an excellent sturdy blend that looks just like cotton. Just out of the package it was a bit starchy so I washed it in cold water, dried on cool for 15 minutes, and airdried the rest of the way. The quilted surface puffed up nicely for a good-looking texture. And those October-y prints-- WOW!

I wait to review things like this until I see how they wear. This quilt did not disappoint. We've had the set for over a year and it has worn VERY well. We lay on our bed to watch tv, etc., so it gets quite a bit of wear. Plus grandkids and pets.....just a lot of wear. Lightweight enough that it fits easily in the wash, and the color is still really good.

This quilt is very pretty. More vibrant then the picture shows. What I thought was gray is actually quite blue. The terracotta is orange and the wine color really pops. These aren't bad things. It very multi-colored and would work with different decor's. I was going for a more muted look, but I think I'll keep this one anyway. I like that it is the same on both sides and reversible. It's light weight and good for warmer nights. :-)

I like this bedspread. Perfect colors, lightweight, good fit. I bought it for my queen bed as I have thick mattresses that a queen bedspread won't cover the sides and end of. This worked great, replacing an older king bedspread that was waaay too big. I just wish that the pillow end of it was a straight line instead of scalloped like the other three edges. This would be a great help in figuring out which way the bedspread goes.
