Bought this for my fur baby’s first flight and thought it was going to be a problem well No its a really GREAT travel case! She was comfy in it shes 7lbs and was able to stand lay and sit comfortably. While on flight i sat case on lap and opened upper and front zipper and she felt so comfortable and relaxed! While walking through airport i kept upper zipper open and her on internal collar security clip and she did amazing just with her head popping out of it! It had nice bottom that doesnt flop and sturdy sides with metal frame that keeps shape so doesnt flop On ur dog but easy enough to get under seat while taking off and landing! Also has 2 nice pockets where i was able to put wee pads wipes and treats and still had room .

I was looking for a small foldable carrier that would fit in a backpack. The carrier is the size of a trapper keeper when folded and is easily stowed when not in use. The carrier is a semi hard shell that retains its shape. I used this carrier to rescue a four month old feral kitten. I would recommend this product for small animals similar in size to a 3 or 4 month old kitten. The item comes with a leash for connecting to a collar. I did not find this useful. The inner bottom pad was firm to provide stability but contained no cushion for the animal. The adjustable shoulder strap was wide and well constructed. Overall I am very pleased with the product.

This was a very nice carrier and excellent value for the price. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-made and sturdy it was. The buckles on the shoulder straps/seat belt were very heavy duty metal, and the removable interior bottom actually has a thick piece of particle board vs thin cardboard inside of it. This bottom piece is zippered so that you can remove the soft plush cover to wash it (also a plus!) and inside is the board and a foam piece. The carrier unzips on both ends, the top, and the front which is great if you have a finicky kitty or pup who doesn't like getting in a carrier. One end is mesh, the other is not. This can be good or bad depending on what you want - does your cat/dog get scared and want to hide and feel secure or need to see out because they get scared in carriers and feel trapped. Keep in mind, though, this is only on one end. I was impressed with how flat this carrier folded down and how easily it could be stored this way. It's how I have it stored now in the closet and it's quite convenient; however, it also makes for the one negative I found with it, and it's very minor. The supports to hold the carrier up are in the ends that zip open and close, not in the body of the carrier. So, when you have one end zipped shut and one end open, allowing your cat to crawl inside, the end doesn't fully stay open because there is no support there. See attached photo. This can be remedied with some after market fiddling but it just bears mentioning. If both ends are zipped and you have the front or top open you are fine, as the supports to keep it upright are in the arch of the ends. I will say my cat immediately jumped into this carrier and began playing in it. She went into it through the front and ends (when they stayed open.) She had no problem with it when we zipped her up, and she had more than enough room inside (she weighs 7.75lb.) We have not, however, taken her anywhere in it yet, so I'm sure that will change her opinion of it. :) Overall, I would absolutely recommend this carrier. I was very pleased with the color, look, and quality of this item. Be aware of the ability of it to fold flat for storage being a plus/selling feature but also meaning the supports are not in the body of the carrier so the end might go a little wonky on you and you'll be happy.

This is a great carrier! Used this to fly with my two bunnies across the country when I moved and they ended up having to stay inside it for almost 16 hours! The expanding sides were such a lifesaver to give them more room and the unexpanded carrier fit under the seat easily. Not sure how this would hold up for them long term (in terms of them chewing through the fabric) but otherwise was well made, sturdy, and they loved it. Definitely recommend for a long trip with a small animal.

Overall, this is a great carrier. I took a star off for washability. I took my cat to the vet in this and of course he peed en route. It was easy to take off the pad lining the base but inside is just a piece of styrafoam padding and an unfinished piece of wood. Thankfully the pee didn’t soak into the wood. If you know your cat is likely to pee, perhaps consider lining the interior with something water proof. The pee got on the body of the carrier as well but it does appear to be waterproof and didn’t get onto my car seat. It doesn’t say that it is machine washable but I ran it through anyway on sanitize and it came out just fine. The steel reinforcements cannot come out so it could make it challenging to wash in a smaller machine. I don’t think I would wash it regularly either as I’d fear what damage would occur through water exposure. I only plan on using these for vet trips once a year so for that purpose it’s perfect. Also, use the top entrance. It was hard to contain lots of flailing limbs when using it from the front. If you have a very difficult cat you may also have to unzip an end to shove them through which does comprise the structure. My cat that was in here would always try and claw his way through his old hard plastic carrier. This would result in him scratching all his nails off. He tried scratching in this one. There was no damage to the carrier and he gave up earlier and broke far fewer nails.
