These work exactly as expected. The only reason they lose a star is because of the rubber bumpers that are supposed to keep plate from hitting wall. Bumpers are too thin when you factor the angle that they are mounted and the plates are scuffing up my walls

Overall, these are pretty good so far. The two minor issues I have are: (1) When they welded the pipe onto the backing plate, it makes the plate bow outward a bit. This isn't a major problem, but worth noting as they don't sit flush against the wall until they're really torqued down (which may leave a minor imprint in the drywall. (2) The 5 degree angle is a bit too much. On a standard bumper plate, this causes the top of the plate to touch the wall slightly. 2-3 degrees would have been plenty for safety without allowing plates to touch the wall. ... show more

Don’t buy these if you have Rogue plates, or likely any calibrated or well made plates. There doesn’t seem to be any standard diameter on the four posts I received. Measured with a caliper they are all over the place. The only consistency among them is that not a single one of my Rogue plates would fit on them. From 5lbs to 55lbs it was a no go. These posts are simply too fat. Also, several came pre-scratched, so that was a nice bonus. ... show more
