It worked for my situation, I did weld the joints together< all I have is a stick welder so the pipe being fairly thin I ended up burning through a few times but did get the job done so it worked.

Got my box and was really disappointed to find what looks like mild steel. Its also magnetic. I need to use it due to time constraints but sad. Stainless vbands and muffler but tough luck for me i guess.
