    • Great song selection; good for adult beginning piano player.
Format: Paperback
I love this, and other books by same author, as a beginner adult piano player looking for something more interesting than standard instructional music repertoire. I really am close to absolute beginner and this was a great companion book. Good selection. My piano teacher was impressed as well and decided to purchase for other students. ... show more

    • Great first book on jazz piano
Format: Paperback
Haven't used it yet, have so many books (recent purchases) but from my perusal it seem to be a great first jazz book for piano.

    • Very nice easy arrangements for beginners with jazz
Format: Paperback
Very nice easy arrangements for beginners with jazz. Not hard to read music, very simple but not at all boring. People will love to hear you play from this book.

    • Great Intro to Jazz tunes
Format: Paperback
My children hadn't heard many of these songs; the arrangements made the catchy tunes easy to master. Success breeds success so they want to move on to more complicated pieces.

    • Easy but not jazz
Format: Paperback
My mistake - I didn't read the description thoroughly. These are extremely simple arrangements of songs from the early 1900's. There is not one piece that anybody would call a jazz 'standard'. I'm very disappointed but will not return it as it is my fault for not fully reading.
