    • I don't like these for resin

I got these for use with resin. I'm not crazy about them for reasons that no one seems to be addressing here. Yes, if you have both parts A and B mixed in one of these cups, that cup is easy to clean and resin peels out. But the cups you use to measure A and B individually will remain sticky till you wipe it out with a cloth and spray it with alcohol, what a hassle. Next, the measurements are next to impossible for me to read. I hold them up to a light bulb and have to move the cup around to find the mark I'm looking for. I use both 1:1 and 2:1 resins so proper measurement is sometimes critical. I used a Sharpie to mark lines at one point so I wouldn't have to keep holding them up to light but Sharpie doesn't stick to silicone so it wiped right off. Once you've got your two parts in one cup and you're stirring, the silicone is so flexible that trying to wipe the edges is a hassle unless you pick up the cup and wrap your hand around it to hold it's shape. If you don't, the whole thing will sort of bend, flex, and crumple around you. And once you've poured, if you like to clean your stick by pulling it along the edge of the cup, you'll have issues for the same reason as above, it's just too flexible and not sturdy enough. It's better with popsicle sticks, but I got tired of the death of all those trees and the immense amount of garbage I was generating and went with silicone stirrers/spatulas and they are just too stiff and bend these cups. These might be fine for cooking, and if you make small amounts of resin for jewelry or such, but if you're trying to make a cup of resin, I wouldn't recommend them. ... show more

UPDATE - After using them for a while, I got the hang of these & they are now in my top 5 list of must haves for working with resin. The key is to wipe them out IMMEDIATELY after use. If done thoroughly enough with alcohol wipes - you can even use them again right away. At the very least, give them a quick wipe with a paper towel - wet or dry. And not have to deal with dozens of little, plastic bubbles that stick to everything BUT the garbage bag. Flipping them inside out helps greatly with cleaning, tho it's a little tricky to do at 1st. I haven't really used the baby cups. May I suggest those be replaced with silicone stir sticks? THAT would make it the PERFECT set.😉👍 Still trying to figure out how to clean them easier. Luckily I have a super soft toothbrush. Only big dros/clumps come out easily. Smears? Not so much. And if you have a LOT of dots? 🙄🤦♀️ Put some time aside. (Suggestions welcome) Otherwise, very sturdy. Love that they're reusable. Just gotta get to that reusable part. Lol ... show more

These non-stick cups may. It look like much or feel like much. However from the moment you first use it and each time thereafter you will see these are mighty. They do what they are supposed to. They are super easy to clean out, wash up, let dry and store. They do not retain any stains, no residues, nor odors of what ever you may use them for.     • Perfect for mixing small batches of acrylic paint

These are the perfect size for mixing acrylic paint with pouring medium, and will cover an approximately 10in x 10in canvas (if say you have 4 of these cups full of paint mixture for pouring). And when I'm done, cleaning them out is a breeze. I find it's better to let the remainder of paint dry in the cup and then peel the paint out. I got these for mixing epoxy resin and they do the trick. I needed some larger than 100 mls. While they do work, they are thinner than I expected, so they could spill a bit easier than their smaller counterparts. The biggest thing is the markings on the side. 3/4 appears twice. Now, if you know your measurements this is not necessarily an issue because you can still use them. However, if you are not paying attention, this could be a problem. ... show more
