I'm an art teacher and my kids love to use these paint sticks. It's a low mess alternative to painting when we need to get color on our projects and immediately move to the next step in our projects. Dries almost immediately and we can use wet wipes to clean our hands.

I got these tempra paint sticks for my toddler who loves to do a bunch of arts and crafts. They're very cool because they come in these tubes that remind me of glue stick tubes. The caps pop off and then you can twist them to get more of the color to come out. They write incredibly smooth as well and they dry super fast. I even tried to rub my finger through a line that she had just drawn and it was already dry. They're very easy for my toddler to hold because they're thick like glue sticks. The colors that we got were very pastel colors. She really loves them. There's one that even has a golden faint metallic hue. I was very impressed with how smooth they write but yet weren't messy at all. She's normally very messy and she's not able to make a mess with these unless she starts digging your fingers into them. So I'm highly impressed with them. The one thing that I don't like about these is that they don't come with a tray at all. They're just two rows packed into a really thin box which makes them super hard to store in the box. I had to open up both ends to get them to fit in the way they were supposed to and to get them out. I basically had to just dump them on the table and then they rolled around everywhere and under the couch. It was really frustrating. I can't believe in our set that is for children doesn't come with a tray to hold them. I don't even think it would be an expensive upgrade to make a plastic tray to slide out of the box instead of just cramming them in there like a bunch of tubes of glue. And since you need to see the colors you obviously have to take them all out and then they just roll everywhere. So I do think it needs better packaging. Overall though, I highly recommend these. You get 24 sticks for under $10. And that's a great deal and my 3-year-old cried when it was finally time for us to put them away. She loved using them that much.

These paint sticks are great for my 5 year old, who loves to paint. They make painting quick and easy without creating a huge mess like traditional paint can. I love that she can use them on her own without needing a lot of setup or cleanup afterward. The colors are pretty and show up well on paper. They dry quickly and work well on different surfaces. These are a great art supply to keep on hand for kids who love being creative!

Color: 12 Classic+12 Metallic
I got this pack of tempera paint sticks, which includes 24 colors. Each color is very vibrant and they draw very smoothly. I do not need to put very much pressure on them at all. It glides right over paper. They work very nicely for my son as well and they have a thick barrel so it is easier for him to grab one too. They are simple to use with a Chapstick like twist top and I also enjoy that they are non-toxic and come out of clothes and skin easily. They do smear a little bit but overall dries down nicely. I’ve found that these are best used on thick printer paper or the cardstock coloring paper. These are a great way to color with my child and also allow him to explore different colors and his creativity.

Color: 12 Classic+12 Metallic
These tempera paint sticks have some really nice qualities, especially for younger kids. They fit comfortably in small hands, are incredibly easy to use, and the paint glides on smoothly, almost like butter. They dry quickly, which helps prevent smudging and keeps little artists from getting frustrated waiting for their projects to dry. The biggest disappointment for me was the color payoff. They’re heavily advertised as vibrant and suitable for multiple surfaces like paper, wood, glass, canvas, and more, but I found the colors to be much more muted than expected. Even on plain paper, the vibrancy just wasn’t there. Because of that, I can’t imagine getting a very satisfying result on some of the other surfaces they’re marketed for. They really remind me of those off brand crayons you’d get as a kid. That said, these are still a great option for young children. The chunky design is easy for little hands to grip, they’re non toxic, and the mess free factor is a huge plus. I accidentally got some on my table, and it wiped away with zero issues. Overall, these are fun, easy to use paint sticks for kids, but if you’re purchasing them specifically for bold, vibrant artwork, you may be disappointed.

These paint markers are a huge hit with my nieces and nephews. It only took one use before they kept asking for them again. That alone says everything. They had such a fun, hands-on experience and stayed engaged the whole time. You get an impressive 96 paint pens total, with four sets of 24 colors. The variety is fantastic. There are 12 classic shades, 6 neon colors, and 6 metallics, which really keeps things creative and exciting for kids. Here’s what makes these stand out: • Easy cleanup. No stress, no mess • Non-toxic and kid safe • Solid paint sticks designed for small hands • Quick drying so projects stay smudge free • Washable paint makes life easier for parents • Works on paper, wood, glass, ceramic, and canvas • Encourages screen-free, hands-on play The paint goes on smooth with great coverage, and the colors are vibrant. I also love that kids can use these independently without making a huge mess. Overall, this is a fantastic set of washable paint sticks for kids. Fun, easy, and parent-approved. Perfect for creative play at home or as a gift.

Color: (12 Classic+6 Metallic+6 Neon) X4
These sticks have completely replaced the bottles and brushes routine for kid art time at home. The application is solid and creamy like a crayon, but the dried result genuinely looks like paint, not waxy color. Cleanup is the real game-changer: no rinsing brushes, no water cups tipping over, no shirts ruined when an arm sweeps across a wet page. The 24-color range covers everything kids actually reach for, plus useful extras like skin tones and metallics that get a lot of use for portraits and holiday projects. Having 96 in the bundle means duplicates of the popular colors (red, blue, yellow, black) so you're not down to nubs after one busy afternoon. They've worked well across surfaces too: paper obviously, but also smooth river rocks, wood ornaments, and a ceramic mug that survived a gentle wipe. Honest note: dry time really is quick, which is great for stacking finished pieces, but it also means uncapped sticks can develop a slight skin if left open, so cap them when you pause. Best for parents tired of paint cleanup, teachers stocking a classroom, daycares, summer camps, or grandparents who want craft time without the bath afterward.
