Good price for a upgrade over Dodge poor design. This unit went in perfectly. It just felt good. As a long term fix I do suggest the molded hoses going out the driver's side be replaced while there if they oil soaked in the OEM units failure. The oil in the hoses will lead it to failure soon after down the road. Save yourself the trouble of tearing all this apart later for a failed coolant hose. Works great. Oil temps are good too. Minus the stupid labor involved getting to this unit. It is easy to install. Follow torque specs on unit and intake manifolds. Contrary to some review further down No issues with pressure or temperature sensor whatsoever. Out of the box installed smoothly on my 2016 JKU, 2 hrs work if you know the job. Oil leak resolved. Good value for what you get, extremely good packaging too, complete with sensors, oil filter and all seals preinstalled, all seals and bolts are good quality too. Lower intake seals too. To ask if it's easy to install is a hard question. I mean it is located under the lower intake manifold. Still, anybody should be able to do this. It only sounds hard. I still have a few parts to purchase before I install it. Change your spark plugs and possibly the coil packs if needed. This looks to be very well made and it comes with all the gaskets needed, and new sensors. If you're having a oil leak and determine the oil cooler is the problem do not buy the factory plastic one. You'll just have the same problem again. This is far worth paying a little more for. I've worked on my own vehicles since I started driving over 25 years. This is a great replacement if you plan on keeping your vehicle. Buy it. ... show more

    • Do Not Buy Sensors fail!!!

I have purchased 2 of these units. One for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler and the other for my 2014 Dodge Durango. At first the units worked as described and I was please. Then the oil pressure sensor failed on the Durango 2 weeks after installing the unit. I reached out to customer care for Amazon for reimbursement for the repair. I had both units professionally installed. This job is costly and time consuming. They said they could only reimburse me for the whole unit and I have to return the whole part. They refused to reimburse me for going in a second time to replace the oil pressure sensor. Now the one on my Jeep has failed. My recommendation is pick another product. This one is made in China and the customer support is back in China. Do not buy and do your research first! ... show more

My OEM cooler failed. It was made of plastic and was leaking coolant. Engine began over heating and my buddy recommended that I’d get one made of aluminum. I’ve had this unit in my car for a couples months and so far, it’s doing what it’s intended to do. I did replace the gaskets with fel pro after reading several reviews. At first, it did not seem to fit 2012 Grand Cherokee, but you will find a way to get it in the right spot wiggling it. No leaking after installation. Let's see what happens a couple of months later.
