Awesome fit and easy install for my Pitts and spitts 1250! Had to run a little bit of a drill bit in my fire pot to make a tab bit more room. Probably just a little corrosion or debris be I didn't even drill the whole way through and it dropped right in. I reused my previous retention screw as the supplied ones didn't fit, no problem. Plugged in and fired right up, glowed hot immediately and started up a raging fire right away. Will buy again if needed. But should last a lot longer than the OEM all metal ones that lasted 8 months so far.

This product starts glowing orange in about five seconds. Installed it on an old Traeger grill before the old one had a chance to fail. I would say the pellets probably start to smolder in under 30 seconds? Installation is straightforward. Just be sure that when you disassemble the bottom of your Traeger to install the new igniter, that you don't foul the fans with any of the wires. I did, and while no wires were damaged, the fans couldn't run thereby preventing operation of the igniter when I first turned it on.

Works as described. I was a bit skeptical about it due to the length, but it worked perfectly and it lit the pot up under a minute. My original ignitor would take quite a while longer. Definitely recommend so far it's been good. Even with pellets that have been left out a few months in moisture it worked great.

The directions are fairly straightforward, fits perfectly, they even included a wire to help fish the connector thru.i recommend this,it's a good upgrade for any pellet grill/smoker.

Works great and fires up fast.... BUT... there was a bit of confusion whether this was compatible with my Pitboss as the length of the ignitor is only a hair longer than the tube to the firepot. After a bit of headache, and a lot more research, decided to install it anyway. Turns out it works fine and the performance is much better than the original.

I took the old igniter out, replaced it with the new nitrate igniter. I turned the smoker on immediately got an error for the igniter. Took it back apart made sure all connections and wiring was correct, tried it again and again error. I put the old igniter in and it worked fine. I don't know if I got a defective igniter or if the brunswick smoker has a safety turn off something. All I do know is I was excited to put the new igniter in till it didn't work. I will not buy again. If the seller wants to send me a new one, I will try it one more time but very dissatisfied right now.
