There's an old woodworker's adage that says: "you can never have too many clamps". This is definitely a true saying, even for a "sometimes" woodworker like myself. That's why I ordered this set of four right angle clamps even though I don't currently have a specific project that I need them for. These types of clamps are great for assembling boxes, drawers, picture frames, etc. - holding adjacent pieces of wood together while the glue dries. I actually already had a set of clamps kind of like this set from SZSFSYYX, but they had a poorer design then this new set. Most importantly, they did not have the holes in them like this set does, which made it a nightmare to hold the square against the workpiece while holding the 90° clamp screw in place against the edge of the square while attaching the washer, block and tightening the nut to the threaded portion of the screw. Yeah, I didn't use that set much. The new set definitely works much better! The kit comes with all the pieces needed to work with all four clamps at the same time. One of the first things I did was check the angles of the four clamp bodies to ensure that they were perfectly square, and yes, they all were. In fact, ALL the components were precision made, and solid. They should last a very long time. I'm looking forward to my next project that calls for the use of these clamps!

I had a set of plastic clamps like this for making accurate right angles, but saw these and wanted to upgrade to a sturdier and more accurate aluminum. These clamps are great - I like the construction, I like the measurements (though, honestly, I use them as a backup and I generally use my tape measure for my main measurement), I like the smooth action of the knobs on the threaded rods. Honestly, the only thing I don't like - and it was the same with my old set - is that the threaded 90-degree bolts only allow for clamping relatively thin wood "legs." So, to remedy this I've just bought some coupling nuts and add-on threaded rods, which will now allow me to also clamp wider pieces. So, good set, well made, likely to be very long-lasting, and now also flexible enough to do projects of various sizes.

I restore old Construction Set boxes, mostly made out of wood and cardboard (many times with wooden frames, as circa 20-30's types) and these are perfect for my projects! I used to use many jury-rigged clamping solutions, but these provide perfect square corner clamps and side walls every time. My only issue is that if I'd gotten these during another time of the year, I'd have lots of pictures to share, but it WAY too bloody hot in the garage to build and glue up boxes during our Summers, hence box restoration is not happening til things cool off in the fall; then I've a bunch of projects lined up for these clamps. For the money this is a super deal for my buck, as I've looked at clamping systems before, and was apprehensive at the price of some of them. For under $30 this is a good deal, and I'll probably get another set of the squares come fall, when box restoration/production gets back in business. The squares are very well made, super marked, and quite convenient to use. The "L-bolt" are super for early positioning, and very easy to change; normally I'd use my own grip-clips for final prep before cementing. The only "knock" I could give this is that there are no instructions (none really needed IMHO; it's a clamp kit) and it could be nice with a storage box. But that would probably up the price somewhat and I've tons of decent storage for my clamps. For my money this is a perfect solution for me!

This is a clean, competent set of 90-degree clamps that has worked very nicely for a current picture frame project. The angles are machined from aluminum, with a clean, red anodized coating. Under a moderate load, they aren't bending or deflecting to any perceptible degree, which is reassuring...this seems to be a step up from the plastic alternatives I have in the shop. The clamp legs are threaded steel, and are plenty strong to support any reasonable clamping load you'd be applying. The knobs are easy to turn and adjust as needed, and the aluminum catches - whereas perhaps a bit small - still do the job just fine. The kit also packs away neatly in its box, which always helps with my overall organization. Admittedly, it'd be nice to have a devoted case that fit them all in their assembled state, but - at this price point - I won't complain. Altogether, this is a clean, sturdy, and functional set...nicely done!

I tested this set on a small project. I liked the ability to position the pieces precisely by loosening the clamps individually just enough to allow me to do fine adjustments then tightening them. The two scales--metric and imperial (see pictures) -- are useful when, for convenience, I want to use a 'head tool' as a carpenter's square. I see no problem with the workmanship and quality of the parts. It is a 'simple' idea well-executed.
