For the cost of this device, I was anticipating leaks and heavy use of teflon tape to obtain no water leaks. To my surprise and pleasure, I learned that teflon tape caused leaks on the twist on fitting and it was not needed to be leak proof. I would buy this product again and have told other RVers my complete satisfaction with this simple, yet critical part for connecting my RV to park provided water systems.

The Spigot on the front of the apartment building I live in is a mess. It's literally AT the same level as the sidewalk. Worse yet, whomever installed it chunked out the concrete to make room for it but it faces straight down. I can't get a hose on it . . at all. And even if I could, the hose would be kinked completely off. So I got this 90° faucet elbow to try out. And it completely solved my problem. Now I can wash my Jeep out in front of the building, instead of having to go to a pay wash place. And my neighbors are quite pleased as well, as they can now do the same. Quality is sufficient. Definitely solid brass. Comes with a rubber gasket already installed, not a soft plastic washer that'll just split the first time it's tightened, a real rubber gasket that will compress and seal. Now I need to find a cap for it so bugs and debris don't get in it. Absolute no brainer, 5 Stars.

There are two problems with most camper water inlet fittings. First, they aim straight out, so your attached hose puts excessive stress on the fitting. Secondly, the camper fitting is a female garden hose thread. To attach your hose you have to insert the male end of the hose and then tighten the female fitting which is recessed in its housing where you can barely get your fingers on it. I’ve used a 90-degree elbow to solve the first problem for some time, but I realized when I installed this elbow that it also solves the second problem. Don’t attach this elbow to your hose. Screw it into the camper inlet fitting by itself and you can just spin it in and tighten it very easily. Next, attach your hose to this fitting and tighten using the built-in easy-to-grip female fitting. Easy, peasy! This fitting also works great at easing the bend of your home garden hose where it attaches to the hose bib. Construction is solid brass. Fit and finish are excellent. This is an excellent brass 90-degree water hose fitting for your camper.

I just love these so much cause when this house was built, the water faucet for the front & rear yards, were made so close to the ground. Whenever I needed to put on or take off the hose, it felt like I was standing on my head & would actually give me a small headache. When I saw these, they were the answer to a prayer! I put them on right away & they were very easy to put on. Now the part that the hose goes on, isn't pointed down but now comes pointing outward, which makes it SO much easier to put on & take off the hose. I wish I'd known about these years ago. They're made really well & should last a very long time

Very light and made of 100% brass. It does feel light, however, the tubing thickness is 1.7mm, which should be plenty good for my needs. As I'll only use it when I'm dumping RV black water at home with my macerator. Does not leak at all. Since it swivels, I have the ability to position in any direction I need it to. Would recommend for RV users or anyone else who needs a 90 degree elbow.
