These are made with really heavy duty plastic which is essential for a product like this. The sides are really sturdy and easy to clamp to, so you should be able to get perfect right angles clamped on all sides fairly easily. They also fit will into the carrying case which is pretty small.

The media could not be loaded. I had no issue assembling or using this, but the lack of instructions was annoying. These right angles, in their current form, are sturdy enough to be used with the clamps. To use, just tie a positioning square at a right angle to the corner of two boards and clamp it in place. This clamp set is useful for making precise 90-degree angles and should be kept on hand in any workshop. The angle piece is made of a resin-like material, while the clamps are made of treaded metal.     • Great light weight set for clamping at 90 degree angle

I have used other 90 degree clamping kits before that were made of aluminum and they worked very well. only problem is they are usually not true 90 degree braces. This is not a problem if you only need to square up two corners of your box. But if you need all four corners at the same time and one of your braces is not at 90 degrees you are screwed. You can adjust them with a few well-placed hammer taps, but it is a little tricky to get perfect. This kit has all four corner braces at a true 90 degrees. They are very lightweight and the plastic although sturdy does have some flex to it. This could be a problem if you are doing a large project. For light duty though this is a great kit. I wish the "L" bolts had a bit longer leg so you could set them a bit deeper, but they do work. The star knobs do not require a lot of force to hold the clamps in place, but again I feel as these are better suited for light duty projects (drawers). The case that comes with this set is OK, but I worry that the latches will be the first thing to break. For $20 bucks you are getting a great entry level/light duty set of 90 degree clamping brackets. I would definitely recommend this kit for the DIYer and cabinet/drawer maker for your shop... ... show more

    • Good for when you need just a couple more clamps.
I have some nicer 90 degree clamps but they are kind of pricey. When I am doing bigger assemblies and just a few more 90 degree clamps I will go for these otherwise they stay in the drawer. They are an inexpensive option that work ok.

These corner clamps are great for small around the house project. They are made of plastic, which is fine, but probably wouldn't hold up well for larger projects. It comes in a great little case to keep everything together. There also weren't any instructions on usage which would have made this kit even better. ... show more
