I bought these to replace my plastic cooking utensils and I’m so glad I did. I feel so much better cooking with these and not worrying about the plastic melting and getting into our food. I love how many different sizes of spoons there are, as well as kinds of spatulas. They work well for mixing, serving, flipping, and pretty much anything else you’d need them for. The one thing I dislike is that there isnt a good utensil for serving pastas like spaghetti. The one that looks like it might work just doesn’t, so we just use one of the old pasta spoons. I recently received the 9 piece set and am blown away with how beautiful, functional, and sturdy it is. Well, worth the price and now want more teak kitchen items. This has to be one of the best items I've ever purchased from Amazon. I highly recommend and I think it would match any kitchen décor.

I will say, these took longer to arrive than I originally expected. Having said that, the set looks and feels nice and well made. The set includes 9 pieces a wooden canister, a drip catcher, basically 3 spatulas 3 flat spoons (one with holes in it) and I guess a serving fork. Again, it looks nice, it was easy to clean, and it should be safe for non-stick cookware. I am curious to se how it holds up to high use over high heat. I know it is a bit of a gamble with wooden utensils, sometimes they don’t last very long, other times they seem to last forever. For example, my oldest wooden spoon is 30+ years old, so we’ll see how these measure up. ... show more

This set is beautiful! The wood is expensive looking, perfect weight and has all the types of spoons I could need. My only problem is the spoon holder being a slightly different color than the rest of the set. I don't mind it much, really, but it might look a bit odd for some people.

I gave it four stars because it was a great set; however, I sent it back for an exact replacement because the spoon holder was chipped. When they returned another set, the spoon holder was a totally different color. I just decided to keep it anyway, just to leave a lighter footprint on our planet.
