Don't get confused by other scissors that look similar to these. These scissors have an adjustable screw in the middle to keep them tight and the sharpness was much better than I expected. I've used them on things they're not really meant for such as cardboard and other things and they work just fine and have kept their Edge. Great value for the price

Finally I have decent scissors around the house!! There’s a pair in the kitchen, bathroom and garage. As I’ve gotten older bags, packages and boxes have become harder to deal with as my hands are arthritic. With these great scissors I am getting into packages etc. far easier!!

This set of scissors was a pleasant surprise after reading some of the negative comments. I've tested mine to ensure that they all work for a craft day we're having at church. These cut paper, heavier cardstock, and light cotton fabric with no problems. The scissors work smoothly - not too stiff or too loose. I have an average sized adult hand, and these are a great fit for my fingers. If you wear a size Large glove (or bigger), the holes may bind too much to be comfortable. The different colors are bright and helpful when working among a lot of people in a busy environment. The colors stand out on the table and help track them quickly as we reach for them. These are a great set for the price. And I hope to be able to extend their life when necessary by using my scissor-sharpeners that I keep in my craft bag. Highly recommend!
