I had a PC without integrated iGPU, I came across this product and wasn't expecting much out of it but it works great. Yes some times one of the screens would take few seconds to comes up, but the time it takes is very reasonable considering how reliable is this solution to my issue.

Works as advertised... most of the time. I've owned it for a short time, and I've already had a couple of instances where either the USB ports didn't work for one computer (but did for the other) or where one of my dual monitors didn't display for one of the computers but did for the other. I checked cables and couldn't find an issue, but powering down the switch and then back on resolved the issue for me. Seems a little wacky.... But other than a couple instances of WTH, it's doing the job as intended. ... show more

I've had it for less than 1 hour an I found a glaring problem! I connected my desktop PC (Windows 11 Pro, 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080) and my laptop (Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS, 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7) to the KVM switch. I have a triple monitor setup, and I connected my mouse and keyboard to the front of the KVM switch. After 2~3 switches (from desktop to laptop and back to desktop), the mouse and keyboard just hangs and are not responsive. Weirdly, it only occurs on the desktop and my laptop works fine - I can switch back to my laptop and my devices are responsive again. Restarting the desktop PC resets the problem but it never goes away. I've tried switching slower (giving at least 5 minutes in-between switches) but it still hangs. I'm returning this. ... show more

Using this with a mac mini M2 and a Dell PC laptop with an ASUS PA279 monitor. Pushing the single button on this KVM to swap the monitor is better than using the buttons on the front of the monitor like i had been doing before, and has been working well, but I had no luck getting the keyboard or mouse to swap successfully even after trying different usb port combinations. Yes, I double checked that I had the KVM cables connected correctly, I was trying different usb ports directly on the computers, instead of going through a hub, like i normally have things connected, but it made no difference, Still this seems to be working reliably so far, just as an HDMI UHD display switch, and is better than what i was doing before. I had tried a brand name iogear KVM a while back that did not work reliably at all with the same computers, though I think it had full functionality one one computer at a time, it failed to make a successful switch live, with both computers on, so the reliable partial functionality with both computers on using this is an improvement and I am happy to continue using this KVM device even though only part of it works. ... show more
