The lights come with a comprehensive set of options for connecting them and installing them. They can be connected right next to each other with a short stub connector, or a few inches apart, or in different rooms, since they come with 2 power cords/switches. There are spring clips that could be easily attached to a wall or ceiling or whatever... with a single screw. I attached one of them with VHB tape to a tool chest lid, and I use the other as a portable light. It may not need repeating, but they are BRIGHT. ... show more

    • Sturdy and bright but need diffuser.
These lights are quite bright and white but they have a clear "diffuser" or cover. They would be so much better with an actual diffuser so the light isn't so harsh. This isn't a problem if the lights are mounted up higher or not in direct view but, being shorter, these lights are meant to be closer to the user. I may try sandblasting or otherwise scuffing the plastic cover to make a diffuser. The connecting cables and switch are fine - typical of these style lights. The metal frame is a little more sturdy than all plastic designs but I don't think it's really that important. Maybe the metal will keep the lights cooler but I've never had that problem with newer LED lights anyway. ... show more

Simply put, these lights Rock! Although there's almost no weight to them, and one can argue they seem kind of cheaply made the reality is they work fantastic for our purpose. Our house is over a hundred years old and none of the closets have lights (and there is no way to run wire to them without ruining the original plaster walls/ceilings). That is until now! For the past several years we've been going back and forth between no lights and battery powered lights.. both options are less than adequate. I actually ordered these lights to use in my workshop, but then got a "bright" idea when I opened the package up and saw them. I figured they would sit perfectly on the wooden door trim above the doors on the inside of our closets. And boy was I right. These are absolutely perfect for the task. Installation with the provided clips was a breeze, couple pilot holes and a screwdriver and it took about a minute or two to install the lights. As you can see from the pictures the results are fantastic. Sure, we have to run extension cords along the floor base molding and around the corners of the door casings, but strategically running the cords behind furniture all but make them disappear. I cannot recommend these lights enough. Five stars! ... show more

I wanted to make these into a portable lighting system, I’ve got lots of lights on the ceiling but nothing at the level that I’m working off of my roll around in the garage. Now that I’ve got this setup I’ll have plenty of light, and very portable. The lights are also very versatile they are 24” and can be plugged together with supplied tether for a 48” light. You can use them with the short tether or run them individually. I really like that they are so easy to use. They are also very bright for only two feet long 20 w 2800 lm perfect size for using in the garage. They priced it really fair and now it’s unavailable, but when it’s back in stock be sure to pick up a pack of these. ... show more

These lights are bright- perfect if you need drastic illumination from a distance, but I mistakenly got these to light up my garage- and my ceiling simply isn't tall enough to keep from being blinded by these lights. If they came in soft white- PERFECT.
