So happy I got this ! My 6 year olds helped me put it together, super easy set up. I bought 14 bags of 50LBS sand from home depot ($110) and I feel it filled it up just enough. Could I add more, sure, but is it a must, no. We’ve already had it rain three days in a row and the cover seemed to hold up well, keeping most of the rain out. My 6 year olds, who are big for their size, fit perfectly!! Still room for more kids. We had a birthday party for them and they had themselves and three other friends playing in there at one time. After leaving this review, the company actually reached out to me to inquire about my satisfaction with the product, and since I was not completely satisfied offered me a partial refund and reported that they were going to speak with the manufacturer to incorporate suggested improvements to the production of the product. Now that, is excellent customer service which now earns a full 5 star review. Original review: 3 stars. Likes: Fairly simple and quick to put together. Seems durable enough. The bottom mat is good size and seems fairly heavy duty to hold the sand and keep weeds out. Dislikes: The lid for the storage compartment isn’t attached. Not a huge deal but would be much nicer if it came with hinges so you could easily open and close. The cover feels cheap and doesn’t stay on very well, but good enough, just not great. It's Big, holds a lot of sand and multiple kids. The base layer it comes with is very cheap and thin so you'll want to put down something a little heavier duty before you assemble and fill with sand. Easy to build. I stapled the cloth to the bottom worked out great. It's nice and big and can hold a lot of sand. Cover works well doesn't fly if in the winds around here. I kept mine on my deck so I imagine it will pool water so you might need to prop something underneath top keep it rolling off.

This was so easy to put together and has enough room for my 3 kids and I all together! The flat surfaces make for a great seat if you’re not wanting to go all in. My girls love it!! It holds SO much sand (we currently have 1500lbs in ours) and the cloth bottom makes it so you don’t have to have a perfectly flat yard. I love that it came with a fitted cover which stays on during any weather and for the most part keeps water and snow out . It’s been so much fun for my kids and is super durable! ... show more

This sandbox was perfect! I gave it to my 4 year old grandson for Christmas! He’s a very tall 4 year old, so the size was just perfect for him. It’s big enough for his 10 year old brother to get in with him. It’s a few weeks after Christmas now, and his mother reports he has not lost interest in it. She says he’ll go outside and spend hours digging and playing with his toy dump trucks, etc. They have a cat, so it is good it came with a cover! ... show more
