Works great. You might have to drill extra hole but I am very happy. Everyone else acted like I needed whole new everything rather than sell side rails.

Don't know if my issue was with the rails or the bed, but had to use my dremel to grind a millimeter or so off of the hooks to attach the rails to the bed. Ultimately I was able to make it work, but I am knocking off one star for the trouble. That said, if might have been the bed manufacturer just placed the attachment bars too deep. ... show more

These rails are sturdy and solid, and a perfect fit with the antique headboard and footboard that our daughter wanted to use for her bed. I’m glad this is available here, because it’s hard to find the hook on style of rail in stores now!
