I’ve had this tall black bookcase in my home for a few months now and I genuinely love how it looks. It has a very high-end, modern feel and doesn’t look cheap in person at all. That said, assembly was definitely a bit tough( my poor husband). I’d recommend setting aside a solid block of time and possibly having a second person to help, especially since it’s tall. Once it was fully assembled though, it felt sturdy and secure. After a few months of use, it hasn’t wobbled and the shelves are holding up well. We did mount it to the wall with the mounting stuff it came with because we do have young kids and that was very straightforward. Overall, if you’re willing to put in the effort during assembly, the finished product looks fantastic and feels worth it.

Very nice shelf/bookcase. Easy to assemble and it looks awesome in the space. Needed something to enhance my living room and this shelf does the trick. It took me a few hours to put together by myself start to finish. I’m 5’6 130 lb female, and it was very easy to put together. The quality is great, I’ve bought things before that I’ve regretted but this is not it. I highly recommend!

FULL ASSEMBLY REQUIRED. In total, for 2 cabinets, it took over 6 hours to unbox, organize and build. The instructions are flawless and easy to follow. A couple of places in the instructions suggest two people but I was fine on my own, it was just a matter of taking your time and lining things up properly. They are heavy on arrival in the box, 95 lbs I think. Color was as expected. I do wish it was real wood but, they are still pretty cabinets.

This arrived fast and It came with easy to follow instructions as well as Pictures to demonstrate assembly. That said, assembly is a chore. It took over an hour to assemble but I was doing it alone. They do state to use 2 people and it would certainly make assembly easier but 1 person can get the job done. Once completed, it is a beautiful bookcase. I love the arch, the height, and the doors were aligned perfectly right off the bat. I personally built mine in place and I'm glad I did because this is a solid and heavy bookcase. Overall it's a great option at a fair price for a higher end look and another standout feature for parents is that they included a punchout in the back along with hardware to bolt the bookcase to the wall which is a safety feature I love.

These cabinets are beautiful and feel very sturdy! They come in a lot of pieces, but are definitely worth the time it takes to put together. I think it took my husband and I a couple of hours to build. For the price, there is nothing better I could find that would look as good with high ceilings! The cabinet doors are always tough to get even, but the directions detail what to adjust based on how the door is sitting, which I found to be very helpful! Also if your floor isn’t level (carpet), it does affect how the cabinet sits, which makes getting the doors straight tough, but it is possible! The cabinet storage space holds a lot as well, which was another selling point for us! We are using this in place of building a wall for my office, and to enhance storage options in our home, as all of our kids books and ours will now fit in one place!

As other reviewers said , it does take about 3 hours to assemble by yourself. It is worth it. If you take your time and do it right it turns out great! If you want a perfect solid wood bookcase built to the same size, you’ll spend $1,000 plus. This product hits all the sweet spots: it is inexpensive, good quality, and easy to assemble, and most importantly… looks great. Check out the pic!

This is a great statement piece for the price point. Looks modern, and is functional as well. Assembly is tedious, but the finished product is structurally solid. It is not solid wood, so keep that in mind. I would definitely buy again. We did use Gorilla glue for all of the joining pieces for added stability.
