While skateboards are designed to get beat up, dinged, and dented, you still expect to receive it looking perfect. There was a bubble in the paint that flaked off upon taking off the plastic wrap and theres a sticker that completely removes a square of paint as well. Otherwise, it's really well made. My son and I took it for a spin down some giant hills outside our neighborhood and he found that the top was super grippy, the sides and bottom smooth, and the ride was enjoyable. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The quality of the board is not very high. Just upon taking it out of the box I could see a lot of cracks in the paint which made me think the last layer had cracks in it = not sealed properly/weak wood. I only took it out twice, and I didn't go very hard with it. I'm nowhere close to pro. I broke the board doing a low Ollie. On the grass. At least I landed this one. 2 stars because the bearings allowed it to roll well, and it could be a good starting board for a kid/teen who weighs less than 150 lbs. If you're an adult, I would spend the extra money to get a better quality board. ... show more

This skateboard came yesterday, It works just fine but you'll need to fine tune it because it's got a lot of play in the side to side motion. The wheels are slower, but do not catch on anything which is good. It's a good size, and has good grip. Just make sure you have all yoru pads on when you start out. ... show more

Our son, 13 years old, was skating around on an old wood skateboard that he found underneath one of the side porches of the house that we bought shortly after we moved here. It was extremely well used and not well taken care of, but it was working for a couple of years, until it broke in half. We decided to give this one a shot and he loves it. Everything is made very well on the board, very stable and sturdy and has taken the abuse quite well. The price is reasonable and I can recommend this one for just about anyone looking for a new board, but also for beginners. The wheels and bearings are solid and we haven't had to replace them yet, but I can tell that when we do, it will be an easy replacement. I hope this review is helpful! ... show more
