the quality of these furniture legs is very good. They are well made and very sturdy. However they are not meant for staining. As many other reviews stated they have dark spots that look like it may be wood filler which would definitely show if you were to stain them.     • Worked Perfect!!
I had a chaise lounge that needed height and these legs were perfect! Just have to stain them to my desired color but they are extra sturdy and they look great!

These fit perfectly on my bed posts. I just need to find a kind of finial for the top that fits. I’m re-vamping my bed to look French Country and these are the perfect fit. Well made and solid.

I could not find what I was looking for in the stores. I saw the legs on Amazon and gave it a shot. They showed up in a couple of days. To see them in my hands and next to my project piece and know that yes, these are exactly what I wanted and look so much better the picture on line. I can't wait to finish my project. Love these furniture legs!!!! So perfect! I purchased a chaise lounge but didn't like the original block type legs. So I found these. They are sanded and ready to paint! They are very good quality, just screw in and they're super sturdy. I highly recommend them. They fit just right. I'm glad they were available in 8 inches any other height would be too short. We used these to reproduce a famous brand’s platform bed and it worked out **perfectly.** We are absolutely thrilled with the heft and quality; if you want a more consistent color (as other reviewers have mentioned, they can appear striped), you can use any quality stain or, in our case, dark chalk paint wax, to achieve a more uniform appearance.     • Gray/black line, but decent quality
I returned these as I ultimately decided I didn’t like the shape against the furniture piece I had planned to use them on. I gave 3 stars because they do have that annoying gray/black streak running through the wood which would have been troublesome to work around, potentially even with painting. The overall shape was nice and they seemed sturdy and strong enough. If you plan to paint them a dark color the gray/black line through the wood may not be an issue for your finished product. ... show more

    • Paint quality legs not stain quality.
Not bad for the money. But this is paint quality stuff not stain quality. Smooth finish but lots of filler and the wood has a lot of color variation but not in a good way for stain/seal.
