Returning. It’s a super cute style with the white picket fence, however, it is not sturdy. It needs to be leaned up against something in order for it to stay. I got the 8 pieces and two came attached together so there was 4 pieces, it came with extra screws and hinges but there were no holes to screw the hinges on if you wanted to make it one big piece which makes installation difficult. I went to move one of the pieces to the tree and a screw fell out, no big deal, I went to screw it back in but it was already stripped! Then I grabbed another piece and all the white paint popped off. It showed this gray wood grain underneath which was pretty, but not what I was wanting. This was all within 6 minutes of opening it for the first time. For how much they charge for this product, there shouldn’t be that many issues. Returning it.

It's the perfect size for keeping my cat away from the tree. I added the fairy lights. The only issues I found is that there are no support feet, so the fence can tip over easily. And the included hardware was nice but the screwdriver was not. It came with a flathead screwdriver but you need a small phillips. And my cat did knock it over at first. But, overall, it's great 👍.

Works fine but it's a little chintzy. I reinforced it with duct tape behind the screws which was not visible once around our tree. But I was hoping for a little bit better quality.

If you are like me and looking for something to keep your cat out of the Christmas tree, this isn't it. It looks nice, as in the product photos, but it is too light and unstable to withstand even small curious cats. My 8.5lb, 8 month old kitten pushed this into a configuration where he could jump and get at the tree within half an hour. I have a pretty standard 7.5 foot artificial tree. Even with the fence as close to bottom branches of the tree as possible, I would need an additional 4 or even 5 panels to completely encircle the tree as is depicted in the listing photo. I feel that the photos have been staged to make it seem like a 12-pack or less of panels will circle an entire christmas tree. The package came with one fewer sets of hinges and screws than are needed if you want to join the fence in a complete circle. In addition to that, the screws are tiny little phillips head screws, but the package included a flathead screwdriver whose head was too large to fit into the grooves of the screw heads provided. The way that the hinges and fence panels are constructed means that in order to store the fence efficiently, you have to unscrew the whole thing once you are done with it because the fence only folds two panels together, it does not accordion fold to store. All that, in addition to the fact that it is $50 for a flimsy 12 feet of panels means that it's a no from me. Bottom Line: It is cute but doesn't keep out cats and is far too expensive and inconvenient for what it is. I wish I hadn't paid $50 for this, but I was desperate and driven crazy by my cat batting at ornaments. I will have to live with the bottom of the tree being bald, I guess.

Our tree stood proud and strong, this little white picket fence acting as a guardian from our cat and dogs. They could not find a way to penetrate the tree’s defenses and had to go about their days knowing of their defeat! Overall very happy with our tree fence, the bright white looks good as a contrast from the green tree, however, it did hide all the presents from sight (not always a bad thing). We could have actually decorated the fence too, but didn’t think about that until Christmas was over. We will plan on it for next year!
