The canvas is well attached to the board. The board is stiff enough to stand up by itself. The surface is very white. Installation/setup: Use to paint artworks. Final thoughts: I have used panels like this most of my life to create artworks. They are a bit less expensive than stretched canvas but they have their drawbacks too. The boards really don’t last as long as the canvas on the wooden stretchers. They will last several decades, however, as long as they don’t get wet or bent. The canvas can be removed, ultimately, but should be done carefully so as to avoid damage to your finished artwork. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend. ... show more

    • Well priced decent quality canvases
Minimal texture and really good paint retention make these great for both novice and experienced painters. They work particularly well with acrylic and oil paint, but you need a heavier hand with watercolor. Good gesso primer layer to save you time.

I got these for my artistic grandchild. I recommend buying some to have on hand as well as some paints. Kids love to paint. We have had our children and grandchildren, nieces, friends, etc. paint an occasional canvas as a little fun activity and a great keepsake! The subject or talent is irrelevant. These gesso-primed canvas boards are perfect for student or hobbyist use. They're definitely not archival quality, but at the price point, no one is expecting that. My youngest loves to paint and draw. I got these since they've used up the other canvases we had at home and I thought they'd want more. These are pretty solid and easy to paint on, at least with acrylics or acrylic markers. Good size for table-top easels or setting in your lap to paint on. Paint adheres well and doesn't accidentally come off after it has dried. Pretty good deal on a set of eight of these! 8x10 is fairly small, but great for kids for sure! ... show more

I have always bought these at local art supply stores and they are so much more expensive. The quality is identical and fantastic. I love these so much more than regular canvases because they take up so little room. I have nothing bad to say about these canvas boards. We got these for my younger son who likes to paint, but we didn't want to spend a ton on regular canvasses. These are good quality canvas boards, as far as I can tell (with limited painting experience!).
