Love these scissors. They do all they claim to do. I cut up an old rug so I could put it in the trash pick-up and it was easy to cut the rug without hurting my hands. I came across these when looking for some sharper shears. Someone mentioned in a review they were great cutting open plastic packaging. Every time I have to open one of those clam shells I grumble. Not anymore!!! These have it all ~ quality ~ true cutting power ~ comfort ~ weight ~ and price. But be careful ~ very sharp. [A New Review 1/27/26] ~ I just ordered a second pair. I love these shears and use for many things. The 2nd pair is for having a pair in the garage. Something I didn't point out in the first review is the safety cover. I used these scissors to cut through the bottles of lotion once the squirt handle isn’t picking up any more product. I was able to cut right through the thick plastic of the lotion bottle. Before, I would cut the plastic with a bread knife, but I was concerned it would dull the knife. These scissors worked perfectly and I no longer have to use a bread knife. The material seems sturdy enough to last a while, and I had read the sheath didn’t fit properly but I am not having that issue. Overall a great product for the price. ... show more
