I really love this set of pasta bowls! I love bowls that are shaped like this for both pasta and salads. These are also good for messy foods with gravy and sauces to keep everything contained. These bowls are ceramic and are extremely nice in person. There are not any imperfections on these bowls. They are smooth and gorgeous to look at. They have the white background with very small tan and possibly very light gray specs throughout them. The main part of the bowl is glazed while the bottom is not. The entire bottom is rougher and will help the bowl stay in place. I will only put these on a tablecloth or placemat instead of on my wood table just in case they might scratch the wood when someone scoots or drags them. These are a thick ceramic and look and feel very high-quality. The neutral color will go with just about any table decor, and additional dishes that I use. I’m extremely pleased with these and I will be using these a lot in my kitchen. I highly recommend them!

Love these bowels~! They are ceramic so they can get extreemly hot in the microwave so you have to be careful of that. But the good news the are easy to clean. You can even put them in the dishwasher too~ "Dishwasher safe" (I dont know why they say that~most everything I can think of is safe in the dish washer) Anyhow, I love the size. They are big around and not very tall, and I like that It lets me see more of what Im eating. They are big like a small plate but with raised up edges. They are a good thickness and wont break easily. They have a plain and simple design and will easily blend in with any set of dishes. But the reason I like them is they are perfect for sublimation printing. Its impressive when you hand your friends a bowl of beans and your business logo is in the bottom~! I like everything about these bowels. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ~!☆☆☆☆☆

I love the size of these bowls. They are perfect for dinner of any kind. Great for pasta or stews. They are a little bit on the heavy side and have the look of stonewear, but they are solid. Wash easily. They are a bit off white rather than white. I will use them often.

These arrived in just 2 days, and were perfectly packaged and in excellent condition. It seems our pasta bowls, receive more abuse than just about any other plate or bowl in our house. Our previous set was pretty severely chipped and damaged. Just getting these out of the packaging, I did some inadvertent chip testing of my own. One or two of these dropped onto the bowl below, as I had removed the foam. Luckily, everything came out just fine. That bodes well for the future, and I do like that these are fairly deep pasta plates. That said, it would’ve been nice to have them slightly conical so they would nest better. That’s not a deal breaker, but it’s always beneficial to be able to more easily store our plates and bowls. Overall, for the price, I believe this is a good deal and I do recommend it. If future stress testing (normal use in our household) shows weaknesses, I will certainly update the review.

Oh yeah, it does have two-toned sides. And two textures. The side and bottom embellishments add a definite look of class and sophistication to the set. They are not just white bowls. The size is a perfect size for bowl of pasta, or a salad with seared tuna. The set is indeed a very quality set. I have always served pasta on plates, or in soup plates. And I have often thought of getting specific pasta bowls but never really found a set that said, "buy me!" These changed my mind. Serve it to your mother in law. Or your girlfriend's parents. They are that nice, and that level of quality.

These arrived packaged very well and in perfect condition. They're a great size to use either for pasta (as their name suggests, or small meals that don't need a lot of space. I've been considering getting pasta bowls for a while; the hybrid between the flatness of a plate and the lip of a bowl seemed like it would be very convenient, and I'm happy to say that was accurate! I think I'm going to use these for every meal that will fit on them. I really like the look of these. I initially thought they were plane white from the listing, but they have an interesting speckle in their finish that adds a lot of character. They feel solid and substantial, and are of good quality.

These bowls are excellent. They're large and somewhat shallow- great for pastas with sauce, salads, foods with lots of gravy, etc. The color and glaze really have a high-quality look but what I really appreciate about them is the weight. They aren't too heavy or too light. They feel like good quality ceramic and have held up well so far. These will make an elegant addition to your table and are definitely worth for the price.
