This product was amazing and lava rocks were consistent in size! My only complaint however is that it was really dusty. I would recommend sifting it and cleaning it in order to remove all the dust before use especially if you plan to use in an aquarium.

i got these as a substrate add-on for my terrariums and carnivorous plants. it's perfect! a great size, only about the size of a pencil eraser. and if they're still too big, you can break them down further with a hammer. a less expensive substitute for bonsai akadama and vermiculite, as well.

The rock is a good size for bonsai and cuculent the only thing I didn't like is that it had plastic in the rock like shredded plastic bag. It wasn't much and it didn't hurt anything I just would rather it be cleaner.

Great for fish tank. Use a sifting tray that fits into a 5 gallon bucket (poke holes in bucket to drain water) and you can clean the rock dust off quick and easy
