This worked perfectly for my Troy Built TB200 with a Briggs and Stratton engine. It was running really rough before. I watched a video before I changed it but it is fairly straightforward. The kit comes with a new spark plug, air filter, fuel hose and clips as well as the carburetor. There is a spare O ring in the kit as well, I didn’t use that. This kit may cover different models that use it. After I changed everything out, my mower started first time and runs perfectly. Very happy with this purchase and the price is great.

My lawnmower would start, run for 30 seconds and die. I cleaned the tank and carburetor. Third time cleaning the carb, I removed and cleaned the white plastic jet assembly (high speed jet?) more thoroughly. The mower ran, but poorly, less power and with a lope. But now, I was sure the carburetor was the issue. I chose this one because it came with an air filter, fuel cutoff valve and filter, extra hose and 2 hose clamps. The carb fit, doesn't leak and mower runs great! Smooth, no smoke or fuel odor! The air filter fit. No room to put the cutoff or filter in the hose. I would definitely would recommend!

My sister called me this spring and could not get any of her four mowers started. Three of the mowers were Briggs engines with these carbs. What happens is that the ethanol in most fuel these days breaks down over time to coat and clog the fuel passages in these carbs. Pull all you want, if won't work. One mower began to work fine after I drained the old fuel out and put new in. One finally started and began to spray fuel out of the carb into the filter and then stalled. One wouldn't start, except briefly with starting spray (Ether) The last mower, also with a Briggs engine was an older model with a metal body carb that I was able to remove the bowl, spray out passages with cleaner and wipe the gunk from the float bowl. The other two needed either carb rebuilds or replacements. Since time is important I decided to replace them. Genuine carbs are pricey, but these replacements are relatively inexpensive and both installed quickly and seem to work well. One mower started on the first pull and the other after a few pulls. The replacement airfilters are a nice bonus as both of the originals were pretty dirty. The spark plugs seemed the right reach and had correct thread size and installed ok. However, they did use a different size socket to tighten them. The fuel lines were a little thin and felt somewhat cheap. My experience with cheap China fuel lines is not good. That, so far is the only ding I can bring to this product. Solved the problem. To prevent this in the future don't just drain the gas out of your mower before winter you have to run the carb dry. You don't want any of the old fuel to remain in the carb over the winter. Gunk will build up and stop your mower cold. Happy mowing!

This kit seemed to include everything I needed for my lawn mower and more. No cleaning of existing components was required. It also came with a shut-off valve which can be handy for use with my pressure washer or generator to shut off the gas and let the device go until it exhausts the gas in the carburetor, instead of gumming it up and making itharder to start after some months. Very Happy

The original carb was dirty and not working correctly, so I decided it was not worth cleaning when I found this deal. Replacing it was easy, and it literally started on the first pull and ran perfectly. The fuel shut-off means that I will not have fuel sitting in the carb when not in use, so I should not have this problem again.
