This wire connection cover is roomy enough inside for the connection of an outdoor extension cord to the plug of a string of outdoor lights that has a wire entering the side of the plug. Most other connection covers either won't handle this or force the outdoor light string wire to be crimped and pinched. The directions are very sparse and unclear. I tried to follow them but ended up just doing what I thought was correct. One part is says to fasten the cord with the clamps. What clamps? Hope I did it correctly so my lights keep working.
